Rocker Hayley Williams grew up Southern Baptist in Franklin, Tennessee, but last week she told a concert crowd that your faith is the greatest threat to America.
Now she's screaming "F*** ICE" on stage while federal agents are getting death threats in the streets.
And what DHS said to one rock star is something every Christian in this country needs to hear.
What Williams Actually Said – And Why It's Worse Than the ICE Chant
The Christian nationalism comment didn't happen in passing.
Williams delivered it deliberately, before performing a song called "True Believer" from her 2025 solo album.
She wasn't making a casual observation about political extremism.
She was framing Christianity itself – the faith that built Western civilization, that wove itself into every founding document this country ever produced – as the primary enemy of American freedom.

Lisa Cusack, president of the Don't L.A. My Burbank PAC, said what every historically literate American was already thinking.
"Incredibly ignorant comment considering Christianity is woven into the fabric of every founding document that proscribes Americans' democratic rights," Cusack told Fox News Digital.
She didn't stop there.
"There would be no Natural Law without Christianity, and without that, no human rights that exist beyond a government's power," Cusack said. "Democracy has thrived in the Christian nations across the world for a reason. The true threat is this kind of ignorant bigotry."
That's not a hot take.
That's just history.
DHS Has Heard This Script Before
Here's what Hollywood doesn't understand about the anti-ICE outrage machine – DHS has developed an answer for it.
When Chappell Roan screamed "F— ICE" in Pasadena, DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin didn't flinch: "Pink Pony Club is good. Pedophiles are bad. That's who we're getting off our streets. Get a grip."
When Cardi B threatened to bear-mace federal agents at Coachella, DHS went straight to X and reminded everyone of her criminal history.

When Williams took her turn in New Hampshire – shouting "F— ICE" mid-performance, then adding "FREE MOTHERF—— PALESTINE" – DHS issued a statement that landed like a gut punch.
"America is grateful all the time for our federal law enforcement officers who keep us safe," the spokesperson said. "We suggest Ms. Williams to thank them for their service, not belittle their sacrifice."
These are the people protecting your community from child predators, traffickers, and gang members.
Hayley Williams told her fans to curse them out.
This Isn't New – It's a Pattern
Williams has been building this reputation for years, one concert at a time.
At the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Festival, she warned fans against returning Trump to the White House and accused him of supporting an agenda targeting women, poor Americans, minorities, and the LGBTQ community.
At a 2023 concert in Atlantic City, she told the crowd – directly – "If you vote for Ron DeSantis, you're f—— dead to me."
Now she's added Christians to the list.
This isn't an artist with opinions.
This is a performer who has turned her concerts into anti-Christian, anti-law enforcement rallies.
The Part the Media Won't Tell You
The Paramore fanbase built Hayley Williams.
The same working-class kids in Tennessee and Georgia and Texas who grew up singing "Misery Business" are the ones who made her rich enough to lecture them about their faith.
She knows exactly what she's attacking.

This isn't some coastal elite who stumbled into a theological debate.
This is a woman from the Bible Belt who decided that the people who raised her, who filled those early Paramore arenas, who made "Decode" a cultural touchstone – those people and their beliefs are now America's biggest problem.
The music industry has been running this playbook for years – Billie Eilish at the Grammys, Chappell Roan at Pasadena, Williams in New Hampshire – and every time, DHS answers the bell.
Because here's what all these artists have in common: they live in gated communities protected by the same law enforcement they're telling their fans to curse.
DHS doesn't need Hayley Williams to thank them.
But the 70 million Christians she just called a national security threat might want to reconsider buying a ticket.
