A key Democrat just made this jaw-dropping prediction about the Midterm elections

The Midterm elections are less than seven months away.

Will Democrats hang on to power is the main question facing the electorate.

And this key Democrat just made this jaw-dropping prediction about the Midterm elections.

The Real Clear Politics polling average shows Joe Biden at 41 percent.

Real Clear Politics polling aggregate also shows Republicans holding a 2.9 percent lead in the generic ballot question of which Party Americans want to see holding the majority in Congress.

These poll numbers do not bode well for the Democrats’ chances to hang on to their majorities, especially considering Republicans only need to flip one Senate seat and five House seats to oust Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi.

Even some Democrats understand the depth of the problem facing the Party this fall.

One strategist told The Hill that Democrats face a “biblical disaster,” but that few Party members wanted to acknowledge the reality.

“I think this is going to be a biblical disaster,” one Democratic strategist predicted. “This is the reality we are in as Democrats and no one wants to face it.”

Other Democrat strategists who spoke to The Hill indirectly confirmed that outlook.

Joel Payne blamed all of Joe Biden’s failures on COVID, inflation, Afghanistan, and Donald Trump.

“We are in a very chaotic moment right now,” Payne told The Hill. “There’s COVID, Afghanistan was just last year, now there’s the war in Ukraine, and the economy is up or down depending on who you are. There is this general instability that sank Donald Trump a mere 18 or 20 months ago, and it is now Joe Biden’s problem, Joe Biden’s challenge.”

Democrat strategist Julie Roginsky claimed the Democrats’ only problem was an inability to communicate the alleged successes of the Biden administration to the public.

“The bad news is seeping through. It’s the good news — and there has been plenty of good news — that Democrats have done a poor job of messaging,” Roginsky began.

“You have to explain to voters in very real terms what you have done to help them,” Roginsky continued. “When you use huge numbers like ‘a billion’ or ‘a trillion,’ that is something that voters just see as spending coming out of Washington.”

The problem Democrats face is that no matter how well Democrats “message” on the economy, Americans can see every time they go to the gas station or the food store that prices are rising.

And the public blames Joe Biden’s policies for inflation.

That’s why a Democrat strategist predicted a “biblical disaster” this fall.
