Joe Biden’s political standing unraveled as the true extent of the catastrophe in Afghanistan became clear.
Bad news pours in every day.
And a key Republican told Fox News about the major crime Joe Biden just committed.
Texas Congressman Mike McCaul is the ranking member on the House Intelligence Committee.
McCaul told “Fox News Sunday” that the administration is lying when officials claim only 100 American citizens remain in Afghanistan.
“You know, I’ve been given the answer in the classified space but it’s in the hundreds. We have hundreds of American citizens left behind enemy lines in Afghanistan as I speak. And also, very sadly, the interpreters who worked with our special forces, almost all of them were left behind and were not let in the gates at the airport at HKI to get out,” McCaul stated.
McCaul added that Biden also lied when he said that the Taliban would allow Americans safe passage out of the country.
The Texas Congressman explained that the Taliban now held American citizens hostage by refusing to allow six airplanes to take off from the airport until their demands are met.
“Zero. And, in fact, we have six airplanes at Mazar Sharif Airport, six airplanes with American citizens on them as I speak, also with these interpreters, and the Taliban is holding them hostage for demands right now. They — we — the state has cleared these flights and the Taliban will not let them leave the airport. So, I’m sorry, the answer to your question is zero. And that’s my concern is they’re going to demand more and more, whether it be cash or legitimacy as the government of Afghanistan,” McCaul added.
Joe Biden and allies reacted with anger when Republicans accused them of stranding American citizens in Afghanistan.
But thanks to Joe Biden’s chaotic and poorly planned withdrawal, Americans are hostages of the Taliban.
