Highly sensitive classified documents were discovered in the closet of the Penn Biden Center, a garage in the President’s home next to his Corvette, and in another undisclosed location.
Democrats reveled in attacking former President Donald Trump over taking allegedly classified documents from the White House to his home in Mar-a-Lago.
Trump faced bogus rumors of stealing nuclear secrets and was accused of being highly irresponsible for keeping documents that the President has the power to declassify for his personal records.
But now that the tables are turned and Biden is dealing with a scandal for stealing classified documents, Democrats are reeling.
After their months-long crusade against Trump over taking classified documents crumbled, one Democrat coped by turning to an insane conspiracy theory.
During an interview, Hank Johnson (D-GA) suggested that someone could have planted the classified documents to frame Joe Biden.
“Alleged classified documents showing up allegedly in the possession of Joseph Biden… I’m suspicious of the timing of it,” Johnson told Fox News Channel’s Hillary Vaughn. “I’m also aware of the fact that things can be planted on people… things can be planted in places and then discovered conveniently.”
Left-wing conspiracy theorists on social media began making this unhinged claim shortly after the scandal broke.
“That may be what has occurred here,” Johnson continued. “I’m not ruling that out but I’m open in terms of the investigation that needs to be investigated.”
Johnson, one of the most radical left-wing members of Congress, repeatedly attacked Trump over taking classified documents.
He claimed that prosecuting Trump was an “open and shut case.”
Now that Joe Biden is embroiled in his own classified documents scandal, Johnson is floating the ludicrous idea that someone planted them on the President.
After claiming for months that the allegedly classified documents at Mar-a-Lago were going to finally bring down Trump, Biden is knee deep in a document scandal that’s worse than any of the bogus charges against the former President.
Biden sat on highly sensitive classified documents for six years after his Vice Presidency and kept them in unsecure locations.
Johnson can’t cope with this painful political reality and is turning to conspiracy theories after watching another colossal Biden blunder.
This is the latest embarrassing chapter in Hank Johnson’s political career.
During a 2010 House Armed Services Committee hearing, Johnson expressed his concern that the Pacific island of Guam could capsize because of American troops.
“My fear is that the whole island will become so overly populated that it will tip over and capsize,” Johnson told then US Pacific Fleet commander Admiral Robert Willard.
A stunned Willard told him with a straight face that wasn’t a concern for the Navy.
