President Joe Biden is caught up in another scandal after it was revealed that he took highly sensitive classified documents on Ukraine, Iran, and Great Britain from his time as Vice President.
Biden’s classified documents were found on November 2, 2022 – six days before the Midterm elections – in the closest of his Chinese funded think tank.
The White House sat on that information for months before the story finally came out.
Democrats and Biden spent months railing on former President Donald Trump for allegedly taking classified documents from the White House to his home at Mar-a-Lago.
In September, Biden slammed Trump as “totally irresponsible” for taking the documents.
“How could that possibly happen? How one – anyone could be that irresponsible?” Biden said in an interview last year.
Now that the tables are turned, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre had to try and spin Biden’s latest scandal to the press.
Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy grilled her about the glaring hypocrisy of Biden.
“On these documents, how can anyone be that irresponsible?” Doocy asked.
Jean-Pierre, with a pained look on her face, was speechless after Doocy used the President’s own words.
“Isn’t that what this President says about mishandling classified documents?” Doocy questioned.
“The President spoke to this personally, again, he believes that classified documents and information should be taken seriously. He takes them seriously and he was surprised to learn of it,” Jean-Pierre replied.
Biden claimed that he had no idea what was in the documents and was shocked by the situation.
“It looks like he does not take them seriously,” Doocy fired back.
“I disagree, here’s what happened,” she said. “Here’s what happened when his lawyers found out the documents were there. They immediately turned them over to the Archives.”
Joe Biden takes classified documents seriously by leaving them in a closet and then claiming he has no idea how they ended up there.
“I’m not going to go into specifics, but what I’m reiterating to you is what you heard from the President yourself, Peter, which is how he saw the process and how he respects and truly respects and takes this very seriously,” Jean-Pierre continued.
The White House sat on the story for months to prevent a bombshell from coming out in the final days before the Midterm elections.
