Adam Schiff issued a formal Senate statement last year declaring Jeanine Pirro “totally unfit to serve” as the federal government’s top prosecutor.
A Long Island man apparently agreed – and spent weeks traveling to DC, Florida, and New York trying to find her.
And Jeanine Pirro was terrified when she learned why federal agents just arrested this shirtless man from Long Island.
The Man Who Went Looking for Judge Jeanine
Daniel Kretsinger of Hauppauge, New York is facing federal charges after posting two videos to X on June 30 threatening to kill Trump-appointed US Attorney Jeanine Pirro.
In the first video, shirtless and visibly enraged, Kretsinger replied directly to Pirro’s official X account.
“I’m specifically targeting you when I come to Washington, D.C., and put a bullet directly between your eyes,” he allegedly said.
Then he added: “And if Trump keeps up his bull—t I may kill the president too.”
Minutes later, a second video: “I’m gonna come to DC very f—kin soon sweetheart and I’m gonna put a bullet in your f—kin head.”

These were not empty words from an anonymous troll.
When federal agents tracked Kretsinger down and interviewed him on July 9, he confirmed the X account was his – and then told them he had already traveled to Washington, DC, Florida, and Long Island in what he described as efforts to find Pirro in person.
He was not fantasizing.
He was already hunting.
The Judge Who Let Him Go
Federal authorities took this seriously.
An arrest warrant was issued August 7.
Kretsinger was taken into custody August 11.

He faces charges of transmitting a threat to injure a person across state lines – a federal crime carrying up to five years in prison.
The government opposed his release.
A magistrate judge overruled them and released Kretsinger to an inpatient psychiatric treatment program, where he must remain pending trial.
Pirro’s office confirmed the release in a statement to the New York Post.
“No one should ever be threatened or targeted for violence,” a spokesperson said. “Public officials are no exception, and we commend the United States Marshals Service for its swift action.”

What happened to Pirro is not a random act of lunacy.
The US Marshals Service logged 564 threat investigations targeting federal judges in fiscal year 2025 – up from 509 the year before.
Threats against federal prosecutors more than doubled between 2021 and 2023, from 68 to 155.
When Adam Schiff calls Pirro “totally unfit to serve” from a Senate podium, someone with a broken compass hears something else entirely.
Kretsinger was not the first.
He will not be the last.
Pirro has been one of the most effective law enforcement officials in Washington since Trump appointed her in May 2025.
Prosecutions of felons in possession of firearms in DC are up 150% above the 20-year average under her watch.

She has gone after drug rings, memorial vandals, and violent offenders that previous administrations let walk.
For that, she gets shirtless men tracking her across three states – and a magistrate judge who looks at all of it and decides inpatient treatment is consequence enough.
The government argued he should stay locked up.
The judge disagreed.
And Jeanine Pirro did not get the protection a stalked federal official deserves.
She got a policy decision instead.
