A donnybrook nearly broke out during a U.S. Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) Committee hearing.
It would have been a complete mismatch.
And a shocking video showed one Senator issuing a challenge for a fight that you won’t believe.
Oklahoma Republican Senator Markwayne Mullin took union boss Sean O’Brien to task for a tweet O’Brien wrote attacking Mullin with lies and smears.
Mullin previously called out O’Brien for the personal attacks and challenged him to a MMA fight for charity.
O’Brien never accepted.
An attention-seeking union Teamster boss is trying to be punchy after our Senate hearing. Okay, I accept your challenge. MMA fight for charity of our choice. Sept 30th in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I’ll give you 3 days to accept. pic.twitter.com/9WpvuTpDlG

When O’Brien testified before the HELP Committee again, Mullin referenced the tweet and again challenged O’Brien to a fight.
O’Brien claimed he was willing to fight Mullin right then and there so Mullin stood up from his seat and prepared to throw hands before Committee Chairman Bernie Sanders intervened.

Sanders likely saved O’Brien from a very public beating in a very public forum.
Mullin owns a 5-0 record in Mixed Martial Arts fights and was inducted into the Oklahoma Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2016.
O’Brien felt like he could pop off to Mullin because Big Labor owns and operates the Democrat Party.
Union bosses like O’Brien use forced dues clawed out of workers’ paychecks to fund the campaigns of union-label politicians like Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden.
The level of disrespect O’Brien showed Mullins was stunning, but conservatives cheered the fact that Mullins refused to roll over and meekly accept the insults.
That turned him into a folk hero on conservative social media.

Mullin wanted to fight back.
Literally.
