GOP watchdog James Comer is hot on the trail of the Biden crime family’s corruption.
The Biden regime is trying to put up obstacles every step of the way.
And Alejandro Mayorkas was blindsided when James Comer threw him this nasty curveball.
House Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-KY) uncovered more evidence of a cover-up to protect President Joe Biden and his family based on the testimony of an IRS whistleblower and a former FBI agent.
An anonymous retired FBI agent corroborated the testimony of IRS whistleblower Gary Shapley that Biden’s Presidential transition team was tipped off that the FBI was planning to interview Hunter Biden on December 8, 2020.
Investigators in the criminal probe into the President’s son were ordered to hold off on their planned interview.
Comer announced a new round of subpoenas for Department of Homeland Security (DHS) officials, including Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and Secret Service officials, about obstructing his investigation into the Biden family.
He sent letters with the subpoenas that said that the DHS Office of Legislative Affairs ordered Secret Service officials not to respond to multiple House committees that were investigating the claim the President’s transition team was tipped off.
The Secret Service is a part of DHS.
“The Department of Justice initiated the Biden family coverup and now DHS under the leadership of Secretary Mayorkas is complicit in it,” Comer said. “Investigators were never able to interview Hunter Biden during the criminal investigation because Secret Service headquarters and the Biden transition team were tipped off about the planned interview.”
The Kentucky lawmaker said that the House Ways and Means Committee, the Judiciary Committee, and his Oversight Committee were all blocked from interviewing key witnesses, including Secret Service employees.
“This is just one of many examples of the misconduct and politicization during the Department of Justice’s investigation,” Comer added. The Department of Homeland Security is obstructing our investigation by muzzling the Secret Service from providing a response to Congress. The American people deserve transparency, not obstruction.”
Predictably, an official with DHS claimed that Comer’s subpoenas were “entirely without basis.”
Comer told Fox News host Laura Ingraham that there were now two crimes that he was investigating: the Biden family’s corruption and the attempt to cover it up.
“We know that just this week there were Secret Service agents who were working with us on trying to identify the people who tipped off the Biden legal team that the IRS was fixing to knock on the door, and our sources at the Secret Service say that Mayorkas called them to tell them to stop cooperating with Comer and the Oversight Committee,” Comer said.
Another one of the highest-ranking members of the Biden regime is implicated in the cover up to protect the President.
Alejandro Mayorkas is facing potential impeachment for his role in creating the Biden border crisis.
He’ll have to deal with another GOP investigation that will give House Republicans more justification for impeaching him.
