Alejandro Mayorkas was fuming when a top Republican gave him this one suggestion

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas is ignoring America’s immigration laws.

But his colossal failure on the border is coming back to bite him.

And Alejandro Mayorkas was fuming when a top Republican gave him this one suggestion.

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas is supposed to be in charge of securing the nation’s border.

Instead, the border crisis is spiraling out of control under his watch.

A Biblical flood of illegal aliens are pouring across the wide-open southern border and entering the country in record numbers.

Under the control of Mayorkas, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection encountered a record 2.37 million illegal aliens during the last fiscal year.

An estimated five-million illegal aliens from over 150 countries have entered the country since President Joe Biden took office.

Mayorkas is one of the chief architects of Biden’s open borders agenda.

That’s why a top Republican Senator is demanding that Mayorkas throw in the towel after presiding over the worst border crisis in the nation’s history.

Senator Rick Scott (R-FL) said in a press release that Mayorkas should resign after the record number of illegal aliens encountered at the southern border.

Scott said “the American people have had enough of Alejandro Mayorkas’ lies and failures.”

While a catastrophe is unfolding at the border, Mayorkas is claiming that the “border is secure.”

Scott said that “despite undeniable evidence that his gross negligence toward securing our southern border is endangering our families and communities across the country, Mayorkas thinks he is doing just fine.”

“Contrary to what the Secretary thinks, the border is NOT secure. America is LESS SAFE because of his failures. Mayorkas must resign NOW,” Scott stated.

The flood of illegal aliens is just one part of the human catastrophe caused by the Biden border crisis.

Scott pointed out that nearly 15,000 pounds of the deadly drug fentanyl have been seized at the border.

Fentanyl is now the leading cause of death for Americans between the ages of 18 and 45.

Scott slammed Mayorkas for his failure on the border and called him a “pathetic disservice to the American people.”

“The Biden administration’s policy of open borders and amnesty is killing Americans, and Alejandro Mayorkas, whose primary job is to secure the homeland, should resign today for dereliction of duty,” Scott concluded.

Alejandro Mayorkas is a top target for impeachment by Congressional Republicans if the GOP can regain the majority in the Midterm elections.

Mayorkas’ abysmal failure at the border could come back to haunt him under a potential Republican majority in Congress.
