Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is furious after a Democrat made this shocking statement

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and the far-Left have taken over the Democrat Party.

They’re even calling the shots in Congress.

But Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is furious after one leading Democrat made this shocking statement.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and the woke Left in the Democrat Party are constantly rewriting language to fit their politically-correct narrative.

One of the biggest changes recently made by the radical Left was the adoption of the term “Latinx.”

In Spanish, all nouns are gendered either male or female, such as “Latino” or “Latina.”

But since the modern Left considers gendered words a bad thing, they adopted the gender neutral “Lantinx” to replace “Latino” and “Latina” when referring to Hispanics.

However, Hispanics are pushing back at having their language colonized by the woke Left.

A recent poll from Bendixen & Amandi International found that only 2% of Hispanics use “Lantinx,” and 30% said they would be less inclined to support a politician who used the term.

Ruben Gallego, a Latino Democrat Congressman from Arizona, blasted the use of “Latinx” in a post on social media.

“To be clear my office is not allowed to use ‘Latinx’ in official communications,” Gallego tweeted.

“When Latino politicos use the term it is largely to appease white rich progressives who think that is the term we use. It is a vicious circle of confirmation bias,” continued Gallego.

“Adding an x and creating a new word comes off as performative,” he concluded.

Predictably, the far-left attacked Gallego for allegedly supporting gender-biased language.

But Gallego is one of the most radical left-wing Democrats in the U.S. House.

From open borders to “Medicare for All,” Gallego has supported the Democrats’ entire socialist agenda in Congress.

That’s why his pushback against using “Latinx” shows that Democrats are fretting about losing their standing with Hispanic voters nationwide.

And for good reason.

In 2020, Hispanic strongholds in places like South Florida and Texas shifted heavily toward the Republican Party.

But only time will tell whether or not Gallego’s comments will serve as a wakeup call to Ocasio-Cortez and the radical Left.
