All hell broke loose when Donald Trump made one demand of the Supreme Court

A Manhattan jury convicted Donald Trump in a show trial put on by the Democrat Party.

But that doesn’t mean Trump’s down for the count.

And all hell broke loose when Donald Trump made one demand of the Supreme Court.

Trump urges Supreme Court to throw out his conviction

The Judge in Trump’s sham trial – Juan Merchan – is a Joe Biden donor.

Merchan made his latest contribution to the Biden campaign by scheduling Trump’s scheduling hearing for July 11.

July 11 is conveniently four days before the start of the Republican National Convention where Trump will accept the GOP’s nomination for President for the third straight election.

This curious bit of scheduling further validated Trump’s claim that this prosecution was nothing more than in-your-face election interference.

There is a distinct possibility that Merchan will throw Trump in prison and the GOP will nominate Trump while he rots in a cell on Rikers Island.

And in a post on Truth Social, Trump urged the Supreme Court to step in and correct this historical injustice by throwing out this farcical conviction.

“The “Sentencing” for not having done anything wrong will be, conveniently for the Fascists, 4 days before the Republican National Convention. A Radical Left Soros backed D.A., who ran on a platform of “I will get Trump,” reporting to an “Acting” Local Judge, appointed by the Democrats, who is HIGHLY CONFLICTED, will make a decision which will determine the future of our Nation? The United States Supreme Court MUST DECIDE!” Trump stated.

Even establishment Republicans supported Trump on this point.

Speaker of the House Mike Johnson (R-LA) told Fox & Friends that he believed the Supreme Court would eventually step in and take up Trump’s case and overturn the unjust conviction.

“There’s a lot of developments yet to come, but I do believe the Supreme Court should step in, obviously,” Johnson stated.

“I think that the justices on the court — I know many of them personally — I think they’re deeply concerned about that as we are. So I think they’ll set this straight, but it’s going to take awhile,” Johnson added.

“This will be overturned, guys, there’s no question about it. It’s just going to take some time to do it,” Johnson concluded.

Can the Supreme Court take up Trump’s case?

It’s highly likely that the Supreme Court will eventually take up Trump’s case for the same reason it heard Trump’s immunity appeal.

This persecution involved a novel legal theory where a county prosecutor seized the authority to enforce federal election law to invent crimes to charge Trump.

However, the Supreme Court is unlikely to immediately hear Trump’s appeal.

That’s because the court’s original jurisdiction involves only cases where there is a dispute between the states and ambassadors or other high-ranking government officials.

This means Trump’s case is unlikely to get before the Supreme Court until 2025 or 2026, as it must first work its way through the notoriously slow state appeals process in New York.
