All hell broke loose when Joe Biden saw he was losing in these two blue states

Democrats indicted Donald Trump four times on the belief that the American people would never elect a convicted felon.

But Democrats made one major miscalculation.

And all hell broke loose when Joe Biden saw he was losing in these two blue states.

Polls show Trump leading Biden in Minnesota and Virginia

Democrats won Virginia in every Presidential Election since Barack Obama’s victory in 2008.

Joe Biden routed Trump in Virginia four years ago by 10 points.

Minnesota is an even tougher road to hoe.

1972 was the last time a Republican carried the Gopher State when Richard Nixon racked up a 49-state landslide over Democrat George McGovern.

But in 2024, both states are in play.

The Trump campaign’s internal polling has Trump in the lead.

And the public polling averages find Trump ahead of Biden in both states.

Trump already leads Biden in the six critical swing states that will decide the winner of the next election.

Trump doesn’t need to win Minnesota or Virginia.

However, the map is expanding for Trump.

But there is no path to 270 Electoral College votes for Biden without winning both of these states.

On the flip side, there isn’t one state that Trump won in 2020 where Biden can realistically claim to be playing offense.

Why the roof is caving in on Biden

In March 2021, Joe Biden made the fateful decision to press ahead with a $1.9 trillion socialist spending bill.

Even liberal economists, like Barack Obama’s former director of the National Economic Council, Lawrence Summers, warned that this bill would send inflation out of control.

But Biden’s handlers – the real shot callers – were committed to their ideological project to turn America into a socialist country.

Summers’ warnings came true and one year later inflation spiked to a 40-year-high.

Inflation is still running hot as prices in 2024 are up more than three percent year-over-year from 2023.

And prices in 2023 were up year-over-year from the 40-year high of 2022.

That’s why Americans ignore the media spin that inflation is supposedly “cooling.”

Trump makes the case

RealClearPolitics shows Trump holding a lead of 5.3 points.

No Republican has won Nevada since 2004.

But at a recent rally in Las Vegas, Trump put the inflation crisis in terms everyday Americans could understand when Trump read off to the crowd the increase in prices for menu items at the popular Cheesecake Factory restaurant chain.

No Republican has polled this well since 2004.

That’s not coincidentally the last time a Republican won the popular vote.

Americans remember that inflation was under two percent when Trump was President.

Polls show a majority of Americans consider Trump to be a more successful President than Biden.

Under normal circumstances, Biden couldn’t beat Trump in an election that was either a referendum on Biden or a choice between him and Trump.

That’s where the lawfare comes in.

Democrats think Biden can win a choice election between Biden and convicted felon Donald Trump.

The polls – however – show that even in solid blue bastions like Virginia and Minnesota, what voters mainly care about is the fact that life was affordable under Donald Trump and it’s not under Joe Biden.
