An ActBlue Supervisor Flagged a Hong Kong Donor and Called It a Great Accept – but Now Nobody Will Talk

An ActBlue supervisor looked at a donor pinging from Hong Kong and approved the contribution.

Now ten of their executives and employees are refusing to say a single word to Congress.

James Comer wants you to know the investigation into ActBlue’s illegal operation is just getting started.

The Memos They Didn't Want You to See

A new House GOP report details exactly how Democrats' billion-dollar fundraising machine made its decisions.

That Hong Kong contribution got internal approval with a supervisor's note calling it a "great accept."

Another memo shows a supervisor reversing a denied contribution from an apparent foreign donor, arguing it "should have been accepted" because the name, email, and billing details lined up.

A third shows an ActBlue employee acknowledging a Missouri-address donor had "all signs point to this person being from Canada" – then clearing the transaction using a Twitter account as proof of identity.

Twitter.

That's what Democrats' fundraising machine used to confirm American citizenship.

The Passport Check That Checked Nothing

ActBlue CEO Regina Wallace-Jones told Congress the platform required passport numbers to screen donors with foreign addresses.

House Republicans took that claim apart line by line.

The passport system, according to the GOP report, only confirmed that a submitted number hit the right digit count – it never ran a lookup against any government database to verify the passport was real.

Type eight random numbers and clear the screen.

Wallace-Jones then sat before a public congressional hearing and pleaded the Fifth more than 20 times.

Co-founder Matt DeBergalis arrived for his closed-door deposition, refused to answer every question, and walked out in under 30 minutes.

Ten executives, board members, and employees combined – every one of them took the Fifth on every substantive question, 146 times across all depositions.

The Legal Team That Vanished Overnight

By March 2025 – four months after the 2024 election, as congressional subpoenas began arriving – every member of ActBlue's legal and compliance team had left the building.

Some resigned. Some were fired.

Some went on extended leave with no return date.

The House report named the reason: ActBlue had engaged in "knowing and willful" acceptance of illegal foreign contributions, and the people who processed the paperwork knew the math didn't add up.

Rep. Pat Fallon called it what it was: "ActBlue had become a money laundering operation for the Democratic Party."

The scale is worth sitting with.

ActBlue processed north of $16 billion since 2004.

Capital Research Center's Scott Walter ran the numbers on ActBlue's own concession that foreign contributions were under 1% of total donations – and came out at roughly $38 million in potentially illegal foreign cash during the 2024 cycle alone.

AOC uses ActBlue.

Chuck Schumer uses ActBlue.

So does virtually every Democrat leader in both chambers of Congress.

The Party That Lectures You About Foreign Money

Comer told Fox News Digital the investigation is "far from over," with more documents and testimony arriving in the weeks ahead.

Jim Jordan confirmed additional depositions are coming.

Bryan Steil said all options are on the table.

ActBlue's response to all of it: this is a "political stunt," and they're keeping every dollar.

The same Democrats who spent four years warning America about foreign election interference built their entire fundraising infrastructure on a platform where a Hong Kong IP was a "great accept," a Canadian donor could clear verification with a Twitter login, and the entire legal team scattered the moment investigators got close.

That's not an allegation.

That's what their own internal memos say.
