A DSA member just beat a $16 million establishment candidate by 12 points in Trump's home state.
Now Luna went on Fox News Sunday and told America who bankrolled the wave.
The answer involves a Marxist in Shanghai, a federal grand jury, and $285 million moved through American nonprofits.
The Upset Democrats Are Pretending Was Grassroots
Angie Nixon had less than a million dollars.
Alex Vindman had the Democrat establishment, national name recognition from Trump's first impeachment trial, and a war chest that outweighed Nixon's by 16 to 1.
None of it mattered.
Nixon beat him by 12 points in Florida's Democrat Senate primary last week – a state Trump carried by 13 points in 2024.
She is a card-carrying member of the Democratic Socialists of America.
She wants to abolish ICE, freeze rents nationwide, and hand every American government-run healthcare.
Two days after winning, she went on NBC and told viewers she is actually a capitalist.
She joined the DSA in June.
Rep. Luna went on Sunday Morning Futures and called the whole thing exactly what it is.
"There is no such thing as a moderate Democrat," Luna said. "The moderate Democrats are being poached by organizations like DSA – and the funding mechanisms behind it are 100 percent China."
Anna Paulina Luna Has Been Chasing This Network for Over a Year
Luna didn't stumble onto this story Sunday morning.
She and House Oversight Chairman James Comer sent letters to the Treasury Department last September demanding they freeze assets tied to this funding network.
She was calling for this investigation before it existed.
That investigation now exists.
The Department of Justice opened a federal grand jury probe in June into Neville Roy Singham – an American citizen living in Shanghai who has moved over $285 million into a web of socialist organizations, activist groups, and media operations operating across the United States.
The grand jury, convened in the Southern District of New York under U.S. Attorney Jay Clayton, has already issued subpoenas for bank records.

Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche personally authorized the investigation.
Prosecutors are examining wire fraud, bank fraud, and money laundering.
Singham is a self-proclaimed Marxist who relocated to Shanghai after selling his tech company and now operates alongside CCP state media.
His wife, Jodie Evans, co-founded Code Pink – an organization that publicly defended China's treatment of Uyghurs the same year she married Singham, after years of criticizing it.
Sen. Jim Banks didn't mince words: "Neville Singham is a traitor to our country. He is an American citizen, but all of his loyalties lie with the Chinese Communist Party."
The Model for What's Coming to Florida Already Destroyed New York
Luna didn't just warn about money.
She warned about what the DSA does once it wins.
"The DSA platform is also very much so anti-white rhetoric and racist," she said on Sunday. "We have their nominees in, for example, New York that made not just anti-white, but also antisemitic comments – and this is somehow supposed to be socially acceptable."
She's talking about Zohran Mamdani – the DSA mayor of New York City who, on his first day in office, scrapped the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance definition of antisemitism.
That definition had been official U.S. federal policy since 2019.
He killed it by executive order before he'd even unpacked his desk.
Under Mamdani, antisemitic hate crimes in New York are up 8.5% this year.
Jewish New Yorkers – just 10% of the city's population – account for 56.9% of all hate crimes recorded so far in 2026.
That is the DSA model.
That is what Angie Nixon's party just voted for in Florida.
Nixon is already sprinting away from it.
She told NBC she's not a socialist.
She told Axios she doesn't campaign as a member of any organization.
Florida Democrat Party chair Nikki Fried called and warned her the DSA label was going to hand Republicans the race.
According to multiple sources, the two women yelled at each other.
Florida is a 13-point Trump state.
Ashley Moody wins this seat. But the bigger story isn't November – it's what just happened to the Democrat Party nationally, and who in Shanghai is paying for it.
