Anthony Fauci told America there was nothing to worry about.
Nine days before he said it publicly, his own colleagues told him the COVID vaccine had never been tested on women in their first trimester – because of miscarriage risk.
What Anthony Fauci said privately about the vaccine’s miscarriage risk explains why he pleaded the 5th Amendment more than 100 times.
The Text That Changes Everything
On January 25, 2021, Dr. John Mascola – director of Fauci’s own Vaccine Research Center at NIAID – sent Fauci a text that should have stopped the country cold.
“Initial Studies avoid vaccination in first trimester due to possible fever and higher rates of miscarriage in first trimester,” Mascola wrote.
Fauci didn’t just read it and move on.
He acknowledged it, expanded on it, and then buried it.
“Since many people have significant cytokines storm and fever after the 2nd dose, this theoretically could be associated with miscarriage in the 1st trimester,” Fauci wrote back.
Nine days later, on February 3, Fauci went on a live JAMA stream and told the world the FDA had found no red flags for pregnant women.
He said that.
Despite knowing what he’d just been told.
Senators Rand Paul and Ron Johnson uncovered these texts from Fauci’s government-issued phone – the same phone HHS handed over on August 5 with over 34,000 texts and 522 voicemails on it.
The FDA Warned Him Too – and He Did Nothing
The miscarriage texts are damning enough.
But the second document Paul and Johnson released might be worse.
On May 27, 2021, then-Acting FDA Commissioner Janet Woodcock sent Fauci and NIH Director Francis Collins a private email warning them that vaccine injury reporting systems weren’t working.
Woodcock had been receiving reports directly from healthcare professionals – people she knew personally – about adverse events that nobody was tracking.
“The peoples’ main complaint is that no one takes them seriously, no one knows how to treat them, and there is no effort to study this,” she wrote.
She didn’t stop there.
“These problems are not the sort that a system like VAERS would be able to detect,” Woodcock warned – meaning the government’s own vaccine injury database was flying blind.
By the time she wrote that email, VAERS held 440,025 adverse event reports and 8,650 associated deaths – nearly three times the volume the government had projected in its worst-case planning.
She warned Fauci and Collins that if they let the problem fester, “it will come back to bite you later and you are not prepared.”
Fauci forwarded her email to Collins and wrote, “We cannot ignore her.”
Then they ignored her.
Despite controlling roughly $5.5 billion in annual research funding, Fauci never commissioned the study Woodcock requested.
The Man Pleading the Fifth Knew All of This
Think about who was pregnant in 2021.
Your daughter.
Your daughter-in-law.
Your granddaughter – told by her doctor, by the news, by Anthony Fauci himself that there was nothing to worry about.
Last month, Rand Paul dragged Fauci before the Senate Homeland Security Committee and asked him about his pandemic response under oath.
Fauci invoked his Fifth Amendment right over 100 times.
The committee voted 8-7 along party lines to hold him in contempt and referred the case to the Department of Justice.

Fauci then refused to appear before Johnson’s subcommittee the following week.
A man who privately acknowledged miscarriage risk, publicly denied red flags, received urgent warnings about a broken injury-tracking system, and then did nothing – that man pleads the Fifth.
Senator Roger Marshall of Kansas looked at these texts and immediately called for a special counsel investigation.
“They can have an independent investigation, and then they can prosecute as well,” Marshall said on Fox News.
Biden’s preemptive pardon covers everything Fauci did through January 19, 2025.
But any false statement made under oath after that date is perjury – which is exactly why Fauci won’t answer a single question.
He wrote “we cannot ignore her.”
Then he ignored her.
Now he’s ignoring the Senate.
