Bible skeptics spent decades telling you the Scriptures were myth – Bronze Age fairy tales with no historical basis.
Now dirt in central Turkey is proving them wrong.
And 60 researchers just pulled a 1,500-year-old gold amulet from the ground, and what's sealed inside it may change everything.
What They Found Buried in Konya
The amulet surfaced at Türkmen Karahöyük, a site in the Konya plain of central Turkey with layers of occupation stretching from the Bronze Age through late antiquity.
Inside a small copper case, researchers found a gold sheet just 0.1 millimeters thin.
That's thinner than a human hair.
Excavation co-director Michele Rüzgar Massa told Turkey's Anadolu Agency the inscription "most likely" contains a biblical passage.
Which passage?
That's still being determined – and it's the mystery that has Biblical scholars and Christians around the world riveted.
Massa says amulets of this type are extraordinarily rare.
"As far as we know, one similar example was found in Germany," she said.
Researchers believe the amulet belonged to a small child.

A parent living in 4th or 5th century Christian Turkey trusted God's Word enough to seal it in gold and copper and place it with their child every day.
Why This Discovery Changes the Argument
When Dinesh D'Souza traveled to Israel in 2022, he asked the same question that haunts every serious thinker who actually stands at these sites: is any of this actually true?
Not on faith – on evidence.
What he found became his upcoming book The Stones Cry Out: Biblical Archaeology, Prophecy, and the Last Days, due October 13.
"Archaeology provides this kind of stunning corroboration for the people, the places and the events in the Bible," D'Souza told Fox News Digital.
The Turkey find fits the exact pattern D'Souza documents.
Early Christians didn't treat scripture as abstract theology.
They wrote it on gold and buried it with their children.
That's not mythology.
That's devotion backed by physical evidence.
The Pattern Keeps Getting Stronger
This amulet is one of several Bible-connected discoveries emerging from Turkey alone.
Earlier this summer, a 2,500-year-old marble statue surfaced from the ruins of Sardis – a city directly named in the Book of Revelation.
Around the same time, an ancient mosaic was uncovered in Smyrna, the site of one of the seven churches addressed in Revelation.
Türkmen Karahöyük itself keeps delivering.
The same dig this summer produced a 3,500-year-old stone seal inscribed in Hieroglyphic Luwian – a script closely related to Hittite, used by the ancient peoples who controlled this region of Anatolia for a thousand years.
Dig after dig, layer after layer, the physical record confirms what Scripture already said.
And the critics are getting quieter.
The Biblical Archaeology Society notes that Christian amulets with scripture inscriptions were common practice in the early church, with examples traced across Egypt, Asia Minor, and the eastern Mediterranean.
John Chrysostom – one of the most important church fathers of the 4th century – wrote about Christians wearing Gospel passages on their bodies as protection.
That practice is exactly what this Turkish amulet represents.
A parent put God's word in gold, sealed it in copper, and placed it with their child.
Fifteen hundred years later, 60 researchers from 13 countries just pulled it out of the ground.
What the Secular Press Buried With This Story
Billions of Christians around the world have staked their lives on the truth of Scripture.
And every year, the secular left insists the Bible is legend, wish-fulfillment, and a tool of oppression.

But the dirt keeps disagreeing.
The Pilate Stone confirms the Roman governor who ordered the crucifixion of Jesus.
The Caiaphas ossuary holds the bones of the high priest named in the Gospels.
And now, in a Turkish field that was once the administrative heart of the ancient world, someone just found a biblical passage a Christian family sealed in gold and buried in the 300s or 400s A.D.
D'Souza says more biblical artifacts are being found now than ever before.
The evidence is not thin.
It is overwhelming.
The left can ignore it.
But they cannot make it disappear.
