Bill Maher took Democrats to task for this bad decision

Comedian Bill Maher has grown increasingly frustrated with the excesses of the Left.

The old-school liberal is now looking rather reasonable compared to the Democrat Party.

And now Bill Maher took Democrats to task for this bad decision.

Maher calls out Democrats for coddling Islamic fundamentalists

Leftists reflexively side with Muslims because they believe their skin tone, religion, and Middle Eastern heritage renders them a “marginalized group” suffering under colonial oppressors – America and Israel.

Bill Maher’s long called out the Left for tolerating Islam’s oppressive beliefs on culture out of misplaced white guilt.

But Maher reached a breaking point after a rally in Dearborn, Michigan, organized by Muslim activist Tarek Bazzi, where Bazzi led the crowd in chants of “death to America.”

“Can I talk about American propaganda? Because there was a rally in Dearborn, Michigan, it’s a large Muslim population, [there were] chants of ‘Death to America.’ I feel like we’ve passed something here,” Maher began.

“The Left has gotten mad at me for many years for talking about Islam. I try not to do it too much because I know it makes them go crazy, and I’ve made my point. But it needs to be talked about now. When you start chanting ‘Death to America’ in America,” Maher continued.

Democrats look the other way to court pro-Palestinian votes

Michigan is home to more than 200,000 Muslim voters.

Joe Biden can’t win Michigan if Muslim voters protest his handling of the war in Gaza where Israel seeks to wipeout Hamas.

But Bazzi’s rhetoric – praising the Ayatollah of Iran – went over the line.

“Imam Khomeini, who declared International Al Quds Day, this is why he would say to pour all of your chants and all of your shots upon the head of America,” Bazzi ranted in a clip Maher played for his audience.

“He’s the good guy now?” Maher exclaimed.

Maher refused to let the point go that Muslim activists inside America wanted to destroy America.

“I’ve heard this before. Not coming from America but . . . now it’s coming from inside America? Sorry. Got to talk about this again,” Maher lamented. “It’s not just ‘genocide Joe that has to go,’ Bazzi declared in a second clip where he called for the destruction of the American way of life ‘it’s the entire system that has to go.’”

“No, it doesn’t” Maher responded.

Maher addressed critics who said he moved to the Right, explaining that he was still an old-style liberal who believed in freedom of speech and freedom from repression and that it was his critics who went off the deep end with their embrace of woke politics.

“This is America for crying out loud. And there are people who will see this and say, oh, he’s a conservative now. I have not changed. I have always liked America and thought death to that was bad,” Maher concluded.
