The fight over Brett Kavanaugh’s Supreme Court seat is not over.
Liberals are still trying to remove him from the bench.
And the last person anyone ever expected joined the left to stab Brett Kavanaugh in the back.
Liberals filed an ethics complaint with the Supreme Court about Kavanaugh.
They claimed he lied under oath about his drinking in high school and college.
Chief Justice John Roberts referred it to the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals to handle.
The Washington Post reports:
Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. on Wednesday referred more than a dozen judicial
misconduct complaints filed recently against Brett M. Kavanaugh to a federal appeals court in Colorado.
The 15 complaints, related to statements Kavanaugh made during his Senate confirmation hearings, were initially filed with the federal appeals court in Washington, where Kavanaugh served for the last 12 years before his confirmation Saturday to the Supreme Court.
The allegations center on whether Kavanaugh was dishonest and lacked judicial temperament during his Senate testimony, according to people familiar with the matter.
Last month, a judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit asked Roberts to refer the complaints to another appeals court for review after determining that they should not be handled by judges who served with Kavanaugh on the D.C. appellate court.
Roberts continues to lose the trust of conservatives.
He famously changed his mind and voted to uphold the ObamaCare mandate by rewriting the law and claiming it was a tax.
He folded in the face of a liberal media pressure campaign to keep Barack Obama’s signature piece of legislation intact.
Roberts also sided with the liberals in another case upholding the ObamaCare Medicaid expansion.
The Chief Justice could have squashed this nuisance ethics complaint.
Instead he entertained it and passed it along to another court.
