Brett Kavanaugh just did the one thing every Democrat fears the most

Democrats invented sexual misconduct hoaxes against Brett Kavanaugh for one big reason.

Everyone on the Left had nightmares about this day.

And Brett Kavanaugh just did the one thing every Democrat fears the most.

Oral arguments in the case of Dobbs v. Jackson Woman’s Health did not go well for the pro-abortion crowd.

The six Republican appointed justices all appeared inclined to uphold Mississippi’s ban on abortions after 15 weeks.

But the state of Mississippi also asked the Court to overturn Roe v. Wade, which legalized abortion on demand in every state in the country.

Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh looked ready to take the plunge in his questioning of Mississippi Solicitor General Scott Stewart.

During the questioning, Kavanaugh sought to drill down on exactly what would happen in the event the Court overturned Roe.

“To be clear, you’re not arguing that the Court somehow has the authority to, itself, prohibit abortion, or that this Court has the authority to order the states to prohibit abortion, so I understand it, correct?” Kavanaugh asked.

Stewart responded in the affirmative.

Kavanaugh then asked Stewart if he believed that since the Constitution doesn’t mention abortion, if that makes it a matter for the people’s elected representatives to decide.

“In other words, that the Constitution is neither pro-life nor pro-choice on the question of abortion, but leaves the issue for the people of the states or perhaps Congress to resolve in the democratic process,” Kavanaugh added. “Is that accurate?”

Stewart again answered in the affirmative.

If the Court overturns Roe v. Wade, the matter will be taken up by individual states and by Congress.

Individual states can pass abortion bans, and Congress can pass a Life at Conception Act that grants unborn babies protections under the 14th Amendment.

Overturning Roe will end the horrendous mistake of allowing unelected justices to decide questions of life and death.

In Kavanaugh’s 2018 confirmation hearings, multiple women stepped forward with false claims of sexual assault.

Many in the fight suspected the Left produced these hoaxes out of fear Kavanaugh would provide the fifth vote to overturn Roe v. Wade.

And it turns out the Left had plenty to worry about.

Renewed Right will keep you-up-to date on any new developments in this ongoing story.
