Chuck Schumer’s dream of running the Senate has turned into a nightmare.
Everything’s gone wrong for him with Democrats in disarray.
And Chuck Schumer is sweating bullets after a leading Democrat made this colossal blunder.
Chuck Schumer’s job as Senate Majority Leader has turned into a massive headache.
The Senate poured cold water on his dreams of ramming through Joe Biden’s radical socialist legislation.
Even worse, Senate Democrats will be forced to defend Joe Biden’s disastrous Presidency.
Schumer is gearing up to defend his razor-thin 50-seat majority.
The Senate race in Wisconsin could decide which Party controls the Upper Chamber.
Wisconsin has turned into one of the biggest battleground states in the country, with the last two Presidential elections there being decided by less than 23,000 votes.
The Senate race is considered one of the Democrats’ best chances to flip a seat from Republican control.
The frontrunner in the Democrat Primary is Lieutenant Governor Mandela Barnes.
Barnes spent his career as a radical left-wing politician who would fit right in with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s “Squad.”
Campaign Finance records show he raked in $28,000 in contributions from Lead the Way 2022 PAC, which has also backed members of Ocasio-Cortez’s “Squad.”
Lead the Way’s contribution is the largest he’s received so far.
The PAC’s leadership is filled with people from the “defund the police” and the “abolish ICE” (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) movement.
An advisor to the PAC, Greisa Martinez, said that police “rape our women” and are “white supremacists.”
Martinez said her group’s goal is “clear-eyed and committed to the long term efforts needed to dismantle the systems of white supremacy and to defund ICE, CBP (Border Patrol), and police.”
Another advisor to the PAC, Jessica Byrd, said that defunding the police means “taking money from a place that is violent, that is not working, is proven to kill black people.”
When the Washington Free Beacon asked Barnes’s campaign if he supports “defunding the police” or “abolishing ICE,” he denied supporting them.
This claim is a little more than an attempt to run away from unpopular leftist positions during an election year in a closely divided state.
After a career criminal was freed on absurdly low bail, he murdered 6 people in a terrorist attack at a parade in Waukesha.
Even though Barnes’ biggest source of campaign funding is from far-Left radicals, he claims he doesn’t support their beliefs.
He thinks the voters of Wisconsin are too stupid to notice his ties to the “defund the police” movement.
This isn’t the first time Barnes has tied himself to the radical Left.
He previously told a socialist activist that he needed an “abolish ICE” t-shirt, which he was later pictured with.
Barnes also told a local PBS station reporter that funding for communities could come from bloated police budgets.
Voters in Wisconsin will have a chance to stop Ocasio-Cortez from adding another ally in Congress this fall.
