The clock struck zero on Hillary Clinton when Trey Gowdy made this announcement

Hillary Clinton can’t hide anymore.

Trey Gowdy is making sure she will be held accountable for her email scandal.

And Clinton is realizing just how much trouble she is in.

House Oversight Chairman Gowdy and House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte announced their committees were launching investigations into the Department of Justice’s probe of Hillary’s email server.

Politico reports:

“Two powerful House Republican chairmen announced Tuesday that they would jointly investigate the Justice Department’s handling of its 2016 Hillary Clinton investigation — a potential counter-punch to the FBI’s probe of the Trump campaign’s Russia connections.

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte and House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Trey Gowdy said they have a host of questions about the FBI’s probe of Clinton’s treatment of classified information. They’re also seeking more information about the agency’s ongoing investigation into campaign associates of President Donald Trump.

“Our justice system is represented by a blind-folded woman holding a set of scales. Those scales do not tip to the right or the left; they do not recognize wealth, power, or social status,” the duo said in a statement. “The impartiality of our justice system is the bedrock of our republic and our fellow citizens must have confidence in its objectivity, independence, and evenhandedness… No entity or individual is exempt from oversight.”

Ever since former FBI Director James Comey announced he was letting Clinton off the hook, conservatives have smelled a rat.

Then two developments stoked calls for a new inquiry.

First, Comey testified that former Attorney General Loretta Lynch ordered him to use Clinton campaign talking points and describe the investigation as a “matter.”

Second, it was revealed that Comey drafted a letter months before the investigation was complete exonerating Clinton.

This led many critics to believe the fix was in the whole time.

Now with Trey Gowdy on the case Americans may finally get real answers.
