Nancy Pelosi dropped a major bombshell on the American people.
But CNN did not read from the usual script.
And CNN had this surprising reaction to Nancy Pelosi’s big announcement.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced on Tuesday that she would run for re-election in 2022.
However, the news was not greeted with universal praise on left-wing propaganda network CNN.
Commentator Bakari Sellers noted that Pelosi only said she was running for re-election, and not that she would seek another term as Speaker of the House.
Sellers used that as a hint that Pelosi did not intend to stay in leadership and that it was time for the Democrats to move on from Pelosi’s 20-year reign as their leader.
“She didn’t say that she was going to run for Speaker, I don’t believe. I think she just announced she’s running for re-election. I firmly believe that it’s time for new leadership in the House Democratic caucus. I think it’s time for new leadership throughout the Democratic Party. Not only do we have to get younger but more vibrant and have bigger and bolder ideas to bring in a new generation of voters,” Sellers began.
Sellers praised Pelosi by outrageously claiming she was the greatest Speaker of the House in American history, citing her ramming Obamacare and Joe Biden’s $1.9 trillion Blue State bailout bill into law.
“I will also say in the same breath Nancy Pelosi will go down in history as the greatest Speaker of all time. Whether or not you’re talking about ushering a country through Covid or passing Obamacare or the Affordable Care Act. So, her legacy is already written. But there comes a time, whether or not you’re Nancy Pelosi, or whether or not you’re Tom Brady, that sometimes you have to hang up the cleats when it comes to being leader of your particular Party or leader of your organization,” Sellers added.
Sellers did not note that Pelosi also oversaw the most disappointing and crushing electoral defeats in the 2004, 2010, 2014, 2016, and 2020 elections for the House of Representatives.
Finally, Sellers concluded that Pelosi – as well as her geriatric leadership team of Steny Hoyer and Jim Cyburn, all of whom are in their 80s – recognize that it is time to step aside and pass the baton to the next generation of Democrat leaders.
“I think she recognizes that. Part of being a great leader is knowing when it is time to turn the reins over. I think that she, Steny Hoyer, Jim Clyburn, all need to usher in new leadership. I’m not saying they should not run for reelection for the House but usher in new leadership to guide us into the new century,” Sellers concluded.
