Democrats pounced on the Dominion lawsuit against Fox News to push more censorship.

Now their end goal is becoming clear.

And Democrats devised a plan to ban Fox News that will leave you speechless.

MSNBC is the leading media outlet seizing on Dominion’s attempt to embarrass and destroy Fox News to demand the Biden administration take action to shut down or regulate the one mainstream platform that does not act in the service of the Democrat Party’s political agenda.

Host Katie Phang interviewed Congressman Eric Swalwell about the Fox News-Dominion case and Phang worried about the “harm” Fox News caused through spreading misinformation.

Liberals like Phang love to claim speech is “harmful” because if speech is “harmful” it provides a pretext for the government to censor its political opposition.

And censoring Fox News is exactly what Phang asked Swalwell to do.

“Has there been any discussions in Congress about maybe Congressional oversight, regulations, maybe the FCC getting involved?” Phang asked the California Congressman. “I know we all respect the First Amendment, Congressman, but should there be some type of gatekeeping that happens so that this doesn’t happen again?”

Swalwell brought up banning Fox News Channel on military bases.

The Congressman did note that troops like watching American TV when deployed overseas and that Fox News was popular with service members.

“Nothing makes them feel more like home than their access to American television programming,” Swalwell stated.

But Swalwell did express openness to the Biden administration – or Democrats in Congress – taking action to ban Fox News on military bases.

“I don’t want to get in the business of telling troops what they can and cannot watch,” Swalwell continued. “But, if you have a news station that a court is going to rule is, in its evening hour, you know, perpetuating dis- and misinformation, I don’t know if I disagree with VoteVets, who was saying that we need to take a look at, you know, how this is being broadcast to our troops.”

“I don’t think we’re without complete recourse,” Swalwell concluded.

Democrats want to get the camel’s nose under the tent.

Once the government bans Fox News from military bases, it opens the door to wider regulation and censorship of Fox News.
