Democrats finally admitted what they fear the most about Ron DeSantis

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is turning into the most effective conservative in recent memory.

But there is one big reason DeSantis terrifies the Left.

And Democrats finally admitted what they fear the most about Ron DeSantis.

Governor DeSantis racked up victory after victory on the issues conservatives care about the most.

It was Governor DeSantis who led the opposition to Dr. Fauci and Joe Biden’s COVID tyranny.

DeSantis kept schools open, banned mask mandates, and issued an order blocking any business in the state from requiring vaccine passports as a requirement for entry.

As DeSantis scored wins on conservative achievements, his star rose in the GOP to the point where he is the second most popular Republican behind Donald Trump in the 2024 polls.

The prospect of DeSantis running for President in 2024 terrifies Democrats.

One Democrat strategist told The Hill that DeSantis scares leftists because Democrats view him as a smarter and more disciplined version of Donald Trump.

“To me, DeSantis is the scarier prospect,” the strategist stated. “He’s a smarter version of Trump. He’s way more strategic and he doesn’t have a hundred lawsuits at his feet.“

“If Trump goes bust, and he very well may, he’s the main guy I’d be watching,” the strategist added.

DeSantis’ rise led Democrats to question why the Party wasn’t doing more to defeat him in this November’s election to prevent him from running for President.

“What’s inexplicable to me is, why — not just Joe Biden — but the entire Democratic establishment isn’t trying to disqualify him now in the Governor’s race,” Florida based Democrat pollster Fernand Amandi told The Hill.

“He’s getting an absolute free pass,” Amandi added. “He has no sense of shame. … He’s acting like someone who doesn’t feel accountable to anyone.”

Another strategist said Biden should spend more time in Florida attacking DeSantis to disqualify the Florida Governor in 2024.

“Biden has to spend more time in Florida, taking on DeSantis, and not giving him the complete stage,” the strategist explained. “We can’t be surprised when he suddenly emerges as the favorite of the Party because we see this train coming.”

But what the strategist forgot to add was that Biden already tried this approach and it failed miserably.

Last fall, Biden tried to turn DeSantis into a boogeyman over him banning vaccine and mask mandates in Florida.

But massive Republican gains in the 2021 Virginia and New Jersey Gubernatorial elections as a backlash to the Democrats’ COVID tyranny led Biden to drop that approach.

Then Biden tried to smear DeSantis as a bigot for signing the Parental Rights in Education Bill, which banned teachers from grooming children with transgender ideology.

When Disney tried to kill the bill, DeSantis signed legislation stripping the woke corporation of its special tax privileges.

Biden used this to paint DeSantis as a dangerous extremist.

“This is not your father’s Republican Party,” Biden said at a Democrat Party fundraising event in April. “It’s not even conservative in a traditional sense of conservatism. It’s mean. It’s ugly. I mean, look at what’s happening now in Florida: Christ, they’re going after Mickey Mouse.”

But this tactic also blew up in Biden’s face, as polls showed the Parental Rights in Education Bill enjoyed wide support even among a majority of Democrats.
