Donald Trump got some really bad news about the next Supreme Court Justice

The 2020 Presidential election will decide the future of the Supreme Court.

Whoever wins the election could get as many as three new Supreme Court nominations.

And now Americans know the name of one potential new Supreme Court Justice. This is why it is bad news for Donald Trump.

In 2016, Donald Trump won the loyalty of the conservative grassroots by releasing a list of potential Supreme Court justices he would pick from if he won the Presidency.

Trump’s nominations of Brett Kavanaugh and Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court stand as one of the President’s greatest achievements.

Democrats are trying to train their voters to value Supreme Court nominations as much as Republicans do in hopes of replicating the voter turnout Trump’s promise to appoint conservative Supreme Court justices inspired.

Former Vice President Joe Biden gave this pitch a test run during his recent campaign swing through Iowa.

Polls show Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders surging past Biden and Biden hoped that revealing the first person he would appoint to the Supreme Court would change that dynamic.

Biden’s first choice for a Supreme Court nominee would be none other than former President Barack Obama.

“Yeah, I would, but I don’t think he’d do it,” Biden stated. “He’d be a great Supreme Court justice.”

86-year-old Ruth Bader Ginsberg is likely to be the next Justice to retire.

Ginsberg’s dealt with four bouts of cancer and now Ginsberg can barely perform the duties of a Supreme Court Justice.

Many insiders believe Ginsberg is hanging on in hopes of a Democrat winning in 2020 so she can safely retire.

Ginsberg’s decision effectively makes the 2020 election a referendum on who Americans want picking her successor and the future make up of the court.

If a Democrat wins and picks Ginsberg’s replacement, then the court will be locked into the current five to four conservative majority for a generation.

But if Trump wins and selects Ginsberg’s successor conservatives will enjoy a dominant six to three majority.
