Donald Trump heard a surprise about replacing Ruth Bader Ginsburg that left him grinning from ear to ear

Ever since Ruth Bader Ginsburg passed away, the big question hovering over Washington, D.C. is whether or not Republicans will confirm Donald Trump’s nominee to fill the seat.

Democrats are cranking up the pressure to frighten Senate Republicans into backing down.

But Donald Trump heard a surprise about replacing Ruth Bader Ginsburg that left him grinning from ear to ear.

Democrats threatened to pack the Supreme Court, eliminate the filibuster, and add Washington, D.C. and Puerto Rico as states if Republicans confirmed Donald Trump’s choice to succeed Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

Some Republicans like RINOs Lisa Murkowski and Susan Collins folded to the pressure and announced they would oppose Trump’s nominee.

That meant two more Republican defections would sink Trump’s nominee.

But on Sean Hannity’s program, Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham announced that not only did Senate Republicans have the votes to confirm President Trump’s nominee, but that it would happen before the election.

“We’ve got the votes to confirm Justice Ginsburg’s replacement before the election. We’re going to move forward in the committee. We’re going to report the nomination out of the committee to the floor of the United States Senate so we can vote before the election. That’s the constitutional process. After Kavanaugh, everything changed with me. They’re not going to intimidate me, Mitch McConnell or anybody else. […] The nominee is going to be supported by every Republican in the Judiciary Committee, and we’ve got the votes to confirm the judge — the justice on the floor of the Senate before the election. And that’s what’s coming.”

Some Trump supporters worried that Republicans would drag the confirmation into the lame duck session.

Democrats and the Fake News Media would then hope Joe Biden won the election and Democrats won the Senate.

At that point, Democrats and the Fake News Media would pressure Republicans to honor the results of the election and leave the seat open for Joe Biden to fill.

But after Graham’s announcement, those fears were no longer legitimate.
