Joe Biden let them all in.
But Donald Trump is throwing them all out – and the records keep falling.
And what ICE just did in August should leave every Democrat who called this impossible without a word to say.
The Numbers That Rewrote the History Books
ICE agents arrested 50,925 illegal aliens in August – the highest single-month total in the agency's history.
That beat July's record of 50,208.
Which beat June's record of 43,900.
Three months.
Three records.
In a row.
DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin didn't mince words: "For the third straight month, ICE set a new record for the highest number of illegal aliens arrested in a single month, nearly 51,000. This is promises made and promises kept in action."
This is what institutional momentum looks like when the federal government is actually trying.

White House border czar Tom Homan also praised ICE for “breaking records.”
“Despite all the hate, despite all the misinformation, despite the radical courts, ICE is still breaking records,” Tom Homan told reporters.
ICE officers are now working seven days a week.
The agency mandates 70 percent of personnel report to work every single day.
New reconciliation funding, thousands of fresh agents, and the end of the DHS budget standoff all hit at once – and the results are compounding.
Mullin's message to anyone still here illegally was blunt: "If you are in the country illegally, leave now. If not, we will find you, arrest you, and deport you."
“Regardless if you’re a criminal or not, if you entered this country and you cheated, you didn’t come in the legal way, because there are people entering this country every single day legally,” Mullin said.
That's not a press release.
That's a warning with receipts attached.
The Number Democrats Spent Four Years Saying Was Impossible
The Center for Immigration Studies dropped a bombshell this week that puts the arrest numbers in full context.
Since Trump's second term began, America's foreign-born population has shrunk by 2.9 million.
The foreign-born population had grown every single year since 1970 – until now.
Many of the illegal aliens are members of known terrorist networks.
"ICE enforces the law as written. What makes someone a target for immigration enforcement is whether or not they are illegally in the U.S.— full stop," a DHS spokesperson said in a statement to CBS News. "Many of the individuals that are counted as 'non-criminals' are actually terrorists, human rights abusers, gangsters and more; they just don't have a rap sheet in the U.S."

Biden spent four years throwing open the southern border and arguing that only Congress could fix it.
Trump proved him wrong in the first week of his second term – and has spent every month since turning the record books into scrap paper.
ICE is now averaging more than 1,600 arrests per day.
Compare that to January 2025, when Biden's last month in office produced roughly 8,000 arrests for the entire month.
Trump is doing in three days what Biden did in a month.
The Multiplier Democrats Never Saw Coming
Democrats called mass deportation a fantasy.
Immigration lawyers said the logistics were impossible.
The media said the numbers couldn't be sustained.
They were wrong on every count.
Here's what they missed: enforcement at this scale changes behavior before ICE ever shows up.

When illegal aliens hear that 50,925 people were arrested in a single month, many of them leave without ICE having to knock on a single door.
That's exactly what the Center for Immigration Studies data shows.
The 2.9 million decline in the foreign-born population is far larger than formal deportation numbers alone can explain.
The crackdown isn't just catching people – it's changing the calculation for everyone still here.
Biden invited them in.
Trump is sending them home – and the records are falling every time ICE checks the calendar.
