Donald Trump just called out Sean Hannity for making this one big mistake

Sean Hannity is one of Donald Trump’s closest allies.

That’s why no one saw it coming.

And Donald Trump just called out Sean Hannity for making this one big mistake.

The January 6 Select Committee released a number of text messages from Fox News Channel’s Sean Hannity to then White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows.

In one message to Meadows and Ohio Congressman Jim Jordan, Hannity claimed he had a bad phone call with President Trump about Trump’s final days in office.

“Guys, we have a clear path to land the plane in 9 days. He can’t mention the election again. Ever. I did not have a good call with him today. And worse, I’m not sure what is left to do or say, and I don’t like not knowing if it’s truly understood. Ideas?” Hannity wrote to Meadows.

The January 6 Committee – an unprecedented assault on the First Amendment and free press – insisted Hannity show up and testify about his conversations with Meadows about Trump’s state of mind.

After these text messages went public, Donald Trump released a statement rebuking Hannity and saying they drew the wrong impression about their phone call.

“I disagree with Sean on that statement and the facts are proving me right,” Trump’s statement read.

Hannity is a member of the media.

He’s been one of Trump’s biggest allies from the get-go.

The January 6 Committee intends to haul a commentator before a kangaroo court to discuss private conversations with government officials.

Of course, no one would ever think of forcing CNN hosts or reporters to testify about their communications with Biden administration officials.

But the Democrats and the Washington, D.C. swamp threw the rules out the window after Donald Trump won the 2016 Presidential election.

They now live under a different set of rules.

And Nancy Pelosi’s January 6 Committee is shredding the First Amendment protections for a free and fair press.
