Donald Trump sent the political world into a frenzy with a post on Truth Social predicting that Manhattan’s Democrat District Attorney Alvin Bragg will arrest him this week.
Everyone thought this would lead to Trump supporters rallying around the 45th President.
But Donald Trump made one announcement about his arrest that led to one surprising reaction.
When Trump announced on Truth Social that Manhattan’s Soros-backed District Attorney Alvin Bragg intended to arrest him on phony charges, Trump called for his supporters to protest.
“NOW ILLEGAL LEAKS FROM A CORRUPT & HIGHLY POLITICAL MANHATTAN DISTRICT ATTORNEYS OFFICE, WHICH HAS ALLOWED NEW RECORDS TO BE SET IN VIOLENT CRIME & WHOSE LEADER IS FUNDED BY GEORGE SOROS, INDICATE THAT, WITH NO CRIME BEING ABLE TO BE PROVEN, & BASED ON AN OLD & FULLY DEBUNKED (BY NUMEROUS OTHER PROSECUTORS!) FAIRYTALE, THE FAR & AWAY LEADING REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE & FORMER PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, WILL BE ARRESTED ON TUESDAY OF NEXT WEEK. PROTEST, TAKE OUR NATION BACK!” Trump wrote.
Trump followed up by calling Joe Biden senile and saying he was leading the nation into disaster with open borders, inflation, and the war against Russia while again doubling down on calling on supporters to protest District Attorney Bragg arresting him on nonsense charges.
“IT’S TIME!!! WE ARE A NATION IN STEEP DECLINE, BEING LED INTO WORLD WAR III BY A CROOKED POLITICIAN WHO DOESN’T EVEN KNOW HE’S ALIVE, BUT WHO IS SURROUNDED BY EVIL & SINISTER PEOPLE WHO, BASED ON THEIR ACTIONS ON DEFUNDING THE POLICE, DESTROYING OUR MILITARY, OPEN BORDERS, NO VOTER I.D., INFLATION, RAISING TAXES, & MUCH MORE, CAN ONLY HATE OUR NOW FAILING USA. WE JUST CAN’T ALLOW THIS ANYMORE. THEY’RE KILLING OUR NATION AS WE SIT BACK & WATCH. WE MUST SAVE AMERICA!PROTEST, PROTEST, PROTEST!!!” Trump continued.
But Trump supporters and other conservatives were wary of this call.
Trump-supporting radio host Jesse Kelly warned his followers that protesting in deep blue New York City – where Democrats control every lever of power – set themselves up for arrest and prosecution.
“Do not protest in cities where every level of power is controlled by people who want to lock you up for what you believe. Take that advice or ignore it. But we are in a different time now. Plan accordingly,” Kelly posted on Twitter.
Conservative radio host Steve Deace called the impending arrest of Trump an injustice and predicted that the Biden administration would use a rally in support of Trump to stoke another January 6 and further crack down on conservatives.
“Just what they want. They are gonna goad us into another January 6 narrative but on a bigger scale. Once we assemble to protest, the feds will already be in place to stoke the flames. Having fun yet? We need to play chess here. Not react to this injustice emotionally,” Deace wrote.
The January 6 fiasco, where the Biden administration weaponized the criminal justice system to jail nonviolent Trump supporters is why there will be no mass street protests of Trump’s arrest.
