Donald Trump’s administration developed the coronavirus vaccines.
Now Joe Biden is trying to take all the credit.
But Donald Trump revealed something about the coronavirus vaccine that will leave you speechless.
In an interview with the New York Post, Trump bragged about the vaccines developed under his watch and boasted about how many lives they saved.
“I’m all in favor of the vaccine,” Trump said in a telephone interview with Post columnist Michael Goodwin. “It’s one of the great achievements, a true miracle, and not only for the United States. We’re saving tens of millions of lives throughout the world. We’re saving entire countries.”
Trump told Goodwin that everyone should want to take the vaccine, but that Americans were free to choose the best course of action as their health is their own.
“The vaccine is a great thing and people should take advantage of it” Trump continued on saying that “nobody should be forced, we have our freedoms. But I strongly recommend it because it’s a real lifesaver.”
Polls shows Republicans are hesitant to receive the vaccine.
Many do not trust Dr. Fauci or the Biden administration to tell the truth about the safety and effectiveness of the vaccine.
The fact that Joe Biden and Dr. Fauci walk around sometimes wearing two masks despite being fully vaccinated sends a signal to the public that the coronavirus vaccines do not work.
Trump tried to combat that mixed messaging from the so-called “experts.”
But Trump also knows that the more the media, Dr. Fauci, and other discredited figures on the Left frame vaccination as a moral imperative, the more dug-in some Americans will be against taking the vaccine.
That’s why Trump made sure to tell Americans that no one was forcing anyone to take the vaccine and that it was up to each individual to make their own choice.
