Donald Trump shook up the 2024 race with this bombshell Vice President announcement

Donald Trump naming a running mate is the last piece of the 2024 puzzle that needs to fall into place.

Trump’s selection could seal victory.

And now Donald Trump shook up the 2024 race with this bombshell Vice President announcement.

Trump holds massive New York City rally

Donald Trump put on a show of force in New York City.

Trump drew a crowd of over 30,000 supporters to a rally in the Bronx, a borough of the city where Joe Biden won over 80 percent of the vote in 2020.

Even CNN was stunned at the level of enthusiasm on display deep in the heart of what should be Biden country.

“Well certainly a bigger crowd than I think Democrats would like to see, particularly given this is one of the bluest counties in the entire country,” CNN’s Kristen Holmes told host Anderson Cooper.

Holmes also admitted that Trump’s rally drew a large number of attendees from the Bronx as opposed to those who travel from out of state to attend a Trump rally.

“Now, one of the things that was interesting to me is that the Trump campaign said that they were going to micro-target to get people from the community to come to this rally. I wasn’t sure what to expect, I’ve gone to a lot of these rallies across the country, and there are often people who travel hundreds of miles to see Donald Trump and they’re not necessarily part of the community. However, one of the things that I found was that there were a lot of people here that were actually from the Bronx,” Holmes added.

But the real news came after the rally when Trump spoke to News 12.

Trump name-checks Vice-Presidential contenders

Correspondent Natalie Allison asked Trump for his top three names on his shortlist to be the next Vice President.

Trump tried to stay vague, telling Allison he had an embarrassment of riches to pick from.

“Well, we have so many, I don’t want to do that, but we have so many,” Trump began.

Trump then did Allison one better and named four Republicans he said would be under consideration.

“You could take people like Ben Carson, you could take people like Marco Rubio, you could take people like J.D. Vance, I mean there are so many. Elise (Stefanik) is doing a fantastic job, but I could go on for quite a long time.”

“We have many people that would do a fantastic job,” Trump concluded.

Allison asked Trump when Americans could expect him to name a running mate.

Trump told Allison that would happen “some time during the convention.”

Stefanik and Rubio are establishment-friendly RINOs who support amnesty, gun control, and funding the war in Ukraine.

Carson is nice and well liked but few swing voters will view him as a plausible President.

J.D. Vance is young, a military veteran, and a celebrity due to publishing the hit book Hillbilly Elegy

Vance is also the leader of the America First conservatives in the Senate.

Trump picking Vance as his VP would signal that Trump’s chosen an heir apparent for the MAGA movement in the 2028 Presidential cycle and would guarantee that Trump has a fighter by his side for the coming battles against Democrats and the Deep State.
