Throughout the entire Mueller investigation, one Judge relentlessly promoted the idea that Donald Trump was in legal jeopardy.
That all came to a halt now that the Mueller Report is out.
But Trump stunned this Judge into silence with one confession.
Fox News’ legal analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano consistently went on television and espoused the view that Donald Trump was in serious trouble both legally and politically from the Mueller Report.
Napolitano’s analysis stunned many Fox News viewers because it flew in the face of the facts of the case.
But Donald Trump thinks there is a reason Napolitano’s analysis was so slanted against him – Trump turned him down for a Supreme Court nomination.
The Daily Caller reports:
President Donald Trump tweeted after Saturday’s rally in Wisconsin an attack on Judge Andrew Napolitano, claiming the judge had come to him privately to ask for a Supreme Court nomination.
“Thank you to brilliant and highly respected attorney Alan Dershowitz for destroying the very dumb legal argument of ‘Judge’ Andrew Napolitano….” Trump began, following his praise of Harvard professor emeritus Alan Dershowitz with an immediate pivot to an attack on Napolitano.
“….Ever since Andrew came to my office to ask that I appoint him to the U.S. Supreme Court, and I said NO, he has been very hostile! Also asked for pardon for his friend. A good ‘pal’ of low ratings Shepard Smith,” the president concluded.
Whatever the reason for Judge Napolitano’s opinions on the Mueller report, the bottom line is that his analysis throughout the case was faulty.
He continually bought into the hype that Mueller would produce impeachment-worthy high crimes and misdemeanors.
When that did not happen, Napolitano instead doubled down in his legally dubious theories that Donald Trump is in trouble.
