President Trump holds daily press briefings where he updates the nation on the state of the government’s war on the “invisible enemy.”
On Sunday, no one could believe what heard.
And that’s because Donald Trump stunned the media with one admission about the coronavirus outbreak.
When the administration finally unveiled their model for the coronavirus outbreak Americans were stunned.
The original Coronavirus Task Force projections predicted up to 240,000 Americans could succumb to the virus.
Americans were stunned.
And as they began to ask questions about the model, the predictions began to diverge wildly from the reality on the ground.
Journalist Alex Berenson noted that the model overestimated how many hospital beds and ventilators would be needed by as much as a factor of four.
The doomsday scenario many in the Fake News Media hyped-up failed to materialize.
And during Sunday’s press briefing the President admitted the model was wrong.
“It’s turning out that we need less hospital beds,” Trump told the press. “We may have models, but we’ve been sort of saying that. In New York, we were saying we think you’re gonna need less.”
The hysteria dying down surrounding this virus will allow the administration to make rational decisions about opening up the economy and trying to avoid a second great depression.
