The 2024 election is expected to be a rematch between Donald Trump and Joe Biden.

But there could be a monkey wrench thrown into that plan.

And Donald Trump took everyone by surprise with this confession about Michelle Obama.

Former President Donald Trump sat down with Fox News host Maria Bartiromo for a wide-ranging interview on Sunday Morning Futures.

Rumors have swirled that President Joe Biden could be replaced as the Democrat nominee this fall.

Bartiromo asked Trump if he still thought Biden would be his opponent.

“Personally, I don’t think so,” Trump replied.

The Fox News host asked him how he would do against California Governor Gavin Newsom, who is rumored as a potential replacement for Biden.

“He’s, he’s so much bulls**t,” Trump said. “His state is doing horribly. You look at the homeless problem. You look at the people that are leaving. You have companies that are leaving. They’re all leaving for other locations. I think Gavin’s easy because California is a disaster.”

Newsom is angling for national office with a high-profile Fox News debate against Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and an increased media presence that has raised his political profile.

Bartiromo then brought up the dream candidate for Democrats.

“How are you going to do against Michelle Obama?” Bartiromo asked.

“Look, I’ve seen polls where she doesn’t do well. She may do well, but I’ve seen polls where I beat her easily,” Trump said. “I beat her by a lot. I had four great years.”

Biden is moving full steam ahead with his re-election campaign, but that hasn’t stopped speculation that Democrats could replace him as their Presidential nominee.

Normally, Vice President Kamala Harris would be next in line to replace Biden, but she’s even more unpopular than him.

Former Senator Dennis DeConcini (D-AZ) came clean last year about the dilemma facing Democrats in the Presidential election.

He admitted that Biden is too old and Harris is too unpopular to win an election.

“He’s too old. So am I,” the 86-year-old DeConcini told NBC. “The problem, in my opinion, is the Democrats really have a problem if he didn’t run because Kamala Harris — I don’t think she could be elected. We’re kind of stuck with Biden because of that.”

Pushing a black woman aside to replace Biden with Newsom would cause a brouhaha in the identity politics-obsessed Democrat Party.

Former First Lady Michelle Obama is one of the most popular figures in the Party and the dream candidate for many Democrats.

Michelle Obama has denied being interested in elected office, but according to a report from the New York Post, she is rumored to be plotting a run.

Joe Biden’s mental decline and collapsing poll numbers will continue to fuel speculation about his political future.
