Georgia was ground zero for the “irregularities” and questionable election management that took place during the 2020 elections.
Even with the deck stacked against him, Donald Trump only lost Georgia by about 12,000 votes.
But new evidence is emerging of illegal election activity that’s so egregious even Trump critic, Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, is launching an investigation.
Election integrity group “True the Vote” recently delivered evidence of a massive illegal ballot harvesting operation in Georgia.
Ballot harvesting is the practice of using third parties, such as labor unions, to round up masses of mail-in ballots from voters and return them to drop boxes.
Despite several lawsuits by Democrats, the practice is currently illegal in Georgia.
“True the Vote” says they delivered evidence of Democrat activists rounding up and delivering thousands of absentee ballots between midnight and 5:00am to temporary drop boxes throughout the state.
The group bought commercially available cell phone data that shows hundreds of people making trips to ballot boxes.
Third-party apps that give off location information are often sold to advertisers.
The group also claims to have video of people dropping boxes of ballots off that matches up with the cell phone data.
The video is alleged to show people taking pictures of themselves at the ballot boxes, which could have been used as proof of work for payment.
A witness who claims he was paid thousands of dollars for ballot harvesting in the Atlanta area for the Presidential and Senate run-off elections is cooperating with the group.
The allegations are credible enough that Raffensperger launched an investigation.
Raffensperger said his office was considering subpoenas to the State Elections Board to begin securing evidence.
Whether or not this leads to a smoking gun, nothing can be done to overturn the results of the 2020 election.
But it is another sign conservatives need to make sure election integrity is a top priority in the 2022 Midterm elections.
