Over the last several weeks, Dr. Anthony Fauci has increasingly become critical of President Trump.
Dr. Fauci has done everything possible to undermine the President.
But Dr. Fauci found out his family turned on him for this surprising reason.
Dr. Fauci’s cousin, also named Anthony Fauci, founded the iconic Staten Island restaurant La Fontana, which his son Joe now runs.
They are not happy with their cousin Dr. Fauci’s strategy of national lockdowns and business closures.
“They shouldn’t do the lockdowns. Especially now. If you don’t abide by the rules . . . shut that area down, but don’t shut down the whole industry,” Anthony Fauci told the New York Post.
His son Joe Fauci told the Post that Dr. Fauci’s plan to lock the country down to slow the spread of the virus backfired and Dr. Fauci took too long to realize his error, which had disastrous effects on the economy.
“In the beginning, I thought [Dr. Fauci] was fabulous, but then a few times he flip-flopped on different things. He had us all locked down at a tremendous rate,” Joe Fauci explained. “They should have loosened things up when it was slowing down in the summer. Everything else was loosening up except the restaurant business.”
Joe Fauci warned the Post that restaurants and business owners got a break from having to pay bills during the lockdown but eventually vendors, landlords, and creditors would demand payment and that in the coming months the country would feel the full brunt of Dr. Fauci’s failure.
“Nobody is paying any expenses. But in a couple of months from now, you will see how bad it will be,” Joe Fauci declared. “When the smoke clears, a lot of these guys are going to be in a lot worse shape.”
