Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis is on the warpath.

Willis is not even trying to hide her intentions.

And now she revealed this unthinkable plan to put Trump in prison before the election.

Willis – an elected Democrat – is making no bones about the fact that her goal is to take down Trump.

After arresting Trump on nonsense charges, Willis announced her proposed trial date of March 4, 2024.

“In light of Defendant Donald John Trump’s other criminal and civil matters pending in the courts of our sister sovereigns, the State of Georgia proposes certain deadlines that do not conflict with these other courts’ already-scheduled hearings and trial dates,” Willis’ motion to set a trial date read.

Willis isn’t even trying to hide it.

The Super Tuesday primaries are scheduled for March 5 and the Georgia Primary is slated one week later for March 12.

It could not be more obvious that Willis wants to interfere in the election unless she invited Joe Biden to deliver the opening statements in the trial.

But Willis’ move looks like a PR stunt.

CNN legal analyst and former federal prosecutor Ellie Honig explained that jury selection at the state level takes far longer than in federal cases.

Honig noted that Willis is currently in the middle of a racketeering case where jury selection is in its seventh month and that template would push Trump’s trial far past election day.

“So, even if they start in March, they’d still be picking a jury on election day, so that is not happening. I understand what the D.A. is doing, she’s doing what prosecutors are trained to do, you always say, ‘We are ready to go, any day, we want to try everyone all together,’ but March is not happening for this case,” Honig stated.

U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Georgia, Michael J. Moore agreed, explaining that by Willis attempting to try Trump and all 18 of his co-defendants at once it made it impossible to keep the March 4 trial date.

“There’s not a chance. There’ll be people who flip, who cooperate, plead out. There may be people she decides to get rid of because it complicates the case. I mean there could be a number of reasons,” he said. “There won’t be 19 defendants sitting in the courtroom and because there’s 19, that’s one of the reasons there’s no possible way that she’s gonna go to trial in March.”

Moore also warned that Willis pushing for such a speedy trial would augment Donald Trump’s arguments that the Democrats weaponized the justice system to interfere in the 2024 election.
