Fox News asked one question that made this RINO traitor squirm on national TV

Senate Republicans are conspiring with Democrats on a massive betrayal.

Conservatives are furious.

And Fox News asked one question that made this RINO traitor squirm on national TV.

Anti-gun RINO and Pennsylvania Senator Pat Toomey is in the middle of negotiations with Democrats on a new bill to gut the Second Amendment.

In 2013, Toomey was a co-sponsor on a failed bill to create a national gun registration database.

Toomey never gave up his desire to disarm the American people.

After the tragedies in Buffalo and Uvalde, Toomey seized on the grief to jump-start a deal on grabbing guns.

But in an interview on Fox News, anchor Bill Hemmer referred to Toomey’s preferred solution – a national gun registration database – as ineffective.

“Okay. If you expanded your criminal background checks, Sandy Hook could have still happened. If you expand criminal background checks, what happened in Uvalde, Texas, still could still have happened,” Hemmer stated.

Even Toomey admitted that gun control is a failed endeavor, as criminals aren’t buying their guns from dealers who perform background checks.

“Let me be very clear. There is no panacea here. There is no one thing that will prevent mass killings. All we can hope for in my view is on the margins make it more difficult for someone who is dangerously mentally ill or someone who is a violent criminal to buy a firearm and hope there is some kind of intervention in the meantime. A determined criminal is going to be able to eventually get a gun. I understand that. That doesn’t mean there is nothing we can do to make it harder for that person to get a gun,” Toomey declared.

Gun control has nothing to do with crime or preventing tragedy.

Gun control is about disarming American citizens.

Still, Toomey expressed optimism that enough RINO sellouts would agree to join with Democrats in crafting a deal to chip away at the gun rights of law-abiding Americans.

“I doubt very much we’ll have a vote by the end of the week, but it is possible that we would have a framework that could lead to specific legislation,” Toomey added. “That is still an ambitious timetable. But it’s very hard to predict how quickly it will come.”

GOP voters expect the Republicans they elect to defend their values.

That’s why many conservatives are not sorry to see RINOs like Pat Toomey retire.
