Fox News continues to reshape their primetime lineup.
With MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow the top-rated host on cable news, Fox is looking to knock her off her perch.
And they just announced a shakeup that had Trump supporters jumping for joy.
Fox announced pro-Trump Laura Ingraham inked a deal to become to new 10PM host on Fox News.
Sean Hannity – another Trump supporter will move from 10PM to his old time slot of 9PM.
The Five – which had moved to 9PM after the surprise ouster of Bill O’Reilly and Megyn Kelly’s departure – will return to 5PM.
The Hill reports:
“Conservative radio talk show host Laura Ingraham will soon debut as host of a program on Fox News, Drudge Report founder Matt Drudge first reported Monday on Twitter.
“DONE DEAL: LAURA INGRAHAM SIGNS CONTRACT WITH FOXNEWS … 10 PM SHOW COULD START NEXT WEEK… DEVELOPING,” wrote Drudge to his more than 500,000 followers.
Fox News later confirmed that “The Ingraham Angle” will debut in the 10 p.m. time slot on Oct. 30.
Ingraham, who is currently a Fox News contributor and editor-in-chief of the online conservative publication Lifezette, has hosted programs on Fox News and MSNBC in the past.”
With the CNN and MSNBC casting their lot at the home for the anti-Trump “resistance” placing Hannity and Ingraham after Tucker Carlson gives Fox a true “America First” lineup.
It’s also bad news for the GOP establishment and the D.C. swamp.
Carlson, Hannity, and Ingraham – while all supportive of Trump – have pegged the Republican leadership in Congress as the reason for the failure to pass any significant legislation.
They note that the establishment still opposes the agenda Trump ran on and the biggest move the GOP congress in both houses made was to launch political hit job investigations on Trump based on Hillary Clinton’s claim he colluded with the Russians during the 2016 election.
This lineup will surely please Trump supporters even if it gives swamp creature Republicans heartburn.
