The anti-Trump media generated another fake outrage scandal.
They ran with the word of a loony tunes Democrat Congresswoman to claim Donald Trump disrespected a Gold Star widow.
But General John Kelly shut down the fake news media with one epic takedown.
General Kelly appeared in the White House briefing to rebut charges Trump is insensitive to the families of fallen soldiers.
The latest “get Trump” controversy arose when Frederica Wilson (D-FL) claimed she listened on a conversation between Trump and Myeshia Johnson – the widow of Sgt. La David Johnson who was one of four U.S. soldiers killed in an ambush in Niger.
Wilson claimed Trump was insensitive and the media ran with the story and used the dead soldier to try and score cheap political points against Trump.
Kelly stood behind the podium in the briefing room and lamented the fact that the Congresswoman politicized a call she never should have been listening in on and described in agonizing detail what happens when a soldier falls in combat and how the family is notified.

Kelly’s son was killed in Afghanistan and he recounted his own experiences in dealing with the grief and how his family was notified.
He informed the media that he recommended Donald Trump not make the calls to families of fallen service members as the calls they appreciate the most come from the band of brothers they served with.
It was a stirring moment that silenced the White House press room – and hopefully shamed the assembled reporters as well.
CNN spent two days reveling in the grief of Gold Star families as they brought on parents or loved ones of fallen soldiers and exploited their loss to feed their Trump hating narrative.
But after General Kelly’s performance they will have to mothball this tactic and take a crack at something else.
