George Soros just revealed this sick plan to kick Trump off the ballot in 2024

Donald Trump wants to run for President in 2024.

Democrats will pull every trick in the book to stop that.

And now George Soros just revealed this sick plan to kick Trump off the ballot in 2024.

Democrats believe Section 3 of the 14th Amendment is their key to banning Donald Trump from running for office.

The 14th Amendment was ratified after the Civil War, and Section 3 prevents officers from the defeated Confederacy from holding federal office.

“No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof,” Section Three of the 14th Amendment reads.

Noah Bookbinder – who serves as the President of the George Soros-funded Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington – said this clause in the Constitution could block Trump from running in 2024.

“There is a tremendous body of evidence about Donald Trump’s role in the efforts to overturn the election and inciting the attack of January 6,” Bookbinder told the New York Times. “It seems like there’s a serious case to be made that it could have application to Donald Trump.”

Another group that is seeking a lawsuit to stop Trump from running in the left-wing organization Free Speech for the People.

“If he does choose to run for office, we stand ready to challenge his eligibility under Section 3 of the 14th Amendment in multiple states,” one of the group’s lawyers also told the Times. “It’s hard to come to any conclusion other than that he is disqualified from public office under the 14th Amendment to the Constitution.”

The efforts to use the 14th Amendment to block Trump from running received a boost when a judge in New Mexico removed Couy Griffin from his position as Commissioner of New Mexico’s Otero County over his conviction for crossing a police barricade – even though he never entered the Capitol – on January 6.

The judge labeling Griffin an insurrectionist and removing him from office was the first example of the government using Section 3 of the 14th Amendment since the Civil War.

And this ruling raised hopes for leftists that they can win a similar ruling to bar Trump from running in 2024.
