Hillary Clinton still has not gotten over losing the 2016 election to Donald Trump.
That’s led her to continually lash out.
And Hillary Clinton made a fool of herself when what she said about Trump blew up in her face.
In an op-ed for Democracy Dockett, Clinton smeared election integrity laws around the country as the outgrowth of Donald Trump embracing conspiracy theories and white supremacy.
“The emboldening of white supremacists and conspiracy theorists during Trump’s campaign and time in the White House along with the international movement against liberal democracy have exacerbated this perfect storm,” Clinton declared.
Clinton then claimed once all the votes were counted that all Americans should accept the outcome.
“When the people make their voices heard in an election, we should respect the results. These aren’t partisan statements; they’re attributes of a functioning democracy,” Clinton stated.
This – of course – is not the path Hillary Clinton chose.
According to the book “Shattered” by Jonathan Allen and Amie Parnes the Clinton campaign cooked up the Russian collusion hoax on Election Night to explain away Clinton’s defeat.
And the late Georgia Democrat Congressman John Lewis – whom Democrats are now waging war in the name of against state election integrity and voter ID laws – declared he would boycott Trump’s inauguration in 2017 because he considered Trump illegitimate.
Hillary Clinton spent four years undermining democracy claiming the Russians stole the election from her.
As late as September 2019, Clinton claimed Trump was an illegitimate President that stole the 2016 election.
“No, it doesn’t kill me because he knows he’s an illegitimate president,” Clinton told CBS News. “I believe he understands that the many varying tactics they used, from voter suppression and voter purging to hacking to the false stories — he knows that — there were just a bunch of different reasons why the election turned out like it did.”
The corporate media pretended like Donald Trump was the first politician to contest an election or claim the result was illegitimate.
Americans don’t have to look back far for more examples.
Democrats spent four years undermining faith in democracy, claiming Trump was illegitimate and that the Russians hacked the election.
