Hillary Clinton made one 2024 announcement that has her squaring off with Kari Lake

Washington, D.C.’s “Swamp” is desperate to stop Kari Lake from winning in November.

Now they’re bringing national power players to make sure it doesn’t happen.

And Hillary Clinton made one 2024 announcement that has her squaring off with Kari Lake.

The Senate race in Arizona is expected to be one of the most competitive in the country this fall.

Likely Republican candidate Kari Lake is headed toward a showdown with the likely Democrat nominee, Representative Rueben Gallego (D-AZ), after the state’s incumbent U.S. Senator Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) announced she wasn’t seeking re-election.

Hillary Clinton endorses in Arizona Senate race

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton got off the sidelines and waded into the hotly contested Arizona Senate race with an endorsement of Gallego.

“Arizonans deserve a fighter like [Ruben Gallego] in the Senate—someone who will deliver for hardworking families, defend abortion rights, and work towards building a better future for us all,” Clinton wrote on social media.

She included a link for her millions of followers to send a campaign contribution to him on the Democrat fundraising platform ActBlue.

Despite being in a state Clinton lost in the 2016 Election to former President Donald Trump, he welcomed the endorsement from her.

“She’s long been a leading advocate for social justice, an unyielding fighter for women’s rights, and a dedicated public servant who has spent decades working to better our nation,” Gallego said. “Now more than ever, we need to stand together in the face of the extremism that’s threatening Arizona and work to protect abortion rights, defend our democracy, and build a better future for families in every corner of our state.”

That became the second major national endorsement that Gallego received that day after Common Defense – a socialist group linked to U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) that supports the Green New Deal and a government takeover of the healthcare system.

He’s embracing the far-left of the Democrat Party in what’s become one of the most important swing states in the country.

Kari Lake fires back at Hillary Clinton

Lake blasted Gallego for accepting the endorsement of Clinton on social media.

“[Hillary Clinton] is all-in on [Ruben Gallego]. I’m not surprised. They have a lot in common. Ruben & Hillary have spent their careers defrauding hard-working Americans & enriching themselves at YOUR expense. I’m running to put you & your family first,” Lake wrote.

Democrats are clinging to a slim 51-49 majority in the Senate heading into the 2024 Election.

Arizona’s Senate race could determine which party controls the upper chamber after the election.

Democrats are running an unabashed far-left Congressman against a conservative firebrand in Lake.

Voters in Arizona will have a clear contrast between a candidate who will put America first and a career politician running with the backing of the “Swamp.”
