Hunter Biden went on trial and Joe Biden pulled this ugly trick

Scandal finally caught up with Hunter Biden.

Joe Biden’s Justice Department could only protect him for so long.

But when Hunter Biden went on trial, Joe Biden pulled this ugly trick.

Joe Biden comments on Hunter Biden trial

The Biden family put on a show of force in what critics contend was an intimidation tactic, just as Hunter Biden was set to stand trial for charges he lied about his drug use on a federal background check form.

Joe Biden visited with Hunter Biden’s ex, Hallie Biden, shortly before the trial – even though Hallie Biden is expected to serve as a key witness.

If Donald Trump did such a thing, the media would immediately demand Alvin Bragg, Fani Willis, or Jack Smith indict Trump on witness tampering charges.

And there is a 100 percent certainty the Democrat prosecutor would swiftly comply.

Hunter Biden flew on Air Force One with Joe Biden.

Joe Biden remained in the jurisdiction where the trial is taking place and released a statement to let everyone know he was watching.

“I am the President, but I am also a Dad. Jill and I love our son, and we are so proud of the man he is today,” Biden’s statement read.

“Hunter’s resilience in the face of adversity and the strength he has brought to his recovery are inspiring to us,” the statement continued.

“As the President, I don’t and won’t comment on pending federal cases, but as a Dad, I have boundless love for my son, confidence in him, and respect for his strength,” the statement concluded.

First Lady Jill Biden also appeared in person at the trial.

Why this trial is happening

Joe Biden’s Justice Department tried to make this case go away.

The Department of Justice sought a sweetheart plea deal that would see Hunter Biden plead guilty to minor charges in exchange for no jail time.

But a federal judge rejected the plea deal as unconstitutional.

That’s why media claims that Hunter Biden going to trial shows there isn’t a double standard of justice in America ring false.

Hunter Biden is only going to trial because there was no other option.

Once the judge rejected the plea deal, Hunter Biden’s lawyer wasn’t going to agree to any deal that included jail time.

The Department of Justice was left with no other choice but to proceed to trial.

Joe and Jill Biden’s actions in the run-up to the trial also suggest they are worried the jury may convict Hunter, which could lead to prison time.

And critics are unhappy with the perceived influence campaign the two are waging.
