Joe Biden thought he survived the worst of the Tara Reade sexual assault scandal.
Biden thought wrong.
That’s because Ilhan Omar gave one interview that could end Joe Biden’s campaign.
Tara Reade’s credible allegations of sexual assault continue to cause problems for Joe Biden.
Polls showed a significant percentage of younger voters both believed Tara Reade and wanted to see Biden replaced as the Democrat Party nominee for President.
Minnesota Congresswoman Ilhan Omar spoke to both of those problems for Biden when, in a recent interview, Omar said that she believed Reade’s accusations against Biden and that Biden should be replaced as the party nominee.
“I do believe Reade,” Omar told the British Sunday Times. “Justice can be delayed, but should never be denied.”
Breitbart noted, “According to the interviewer, Omar added that if it was up to her, Biden would not be the Democratic nominee.”
Omar’s fellow squad member Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez also tried to dance around the topic because she endorsed Biden in a bid to preserve her standing within the Democrat Party for a future run for President.
“There have been investigative journalists that have corroborated certain aspects of her account — that is undeniable — [and] have raised questions about other aspects of her account,” Ocasio-Cortez told NPR.
“It certainly seems as though something has happened,” Ocasio-Cortez added. “I’m not sure. Frankly, this is a messy moment, and I think we need to acknowledge that — that it is not clear-cut.”
Reade’s allegations are just one reason there is little enthusiasm for Biden among Democrat voters.
One high-profile Democrat outright said they disqualified Biden from being President and another leading party figure found a way to say she found Reade’s allegation’s credible without actually saying one way or the other who she believed.
If Donald Trump comes back to win the Presidential election, the lack of enthusiasm among Biden voters will be a big reason why.
