Ivanka Trump upstaged her dad with a stunning announcement that raised one big question

Ivanka Trump was one of President Trump’s closest advisors.

Trump trusted his family above all others and Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner served as high-level White House aides.

But now Ivanka Trump upstaged her dad with a stunning announcement that raised one big question.

On the day Donald Trump announced his re-election campaign, Ivanka Trump posted a statement to her Instagram that she planned to have no involvement in her father’s White House bid.

In an interview with Fox News, Ivanka Trump explained her reasoning by telling Fox that her priority right now is her family and raising her three young children Arabella, 11, Joseph, 9, and Theodore, 6.

“I love my father very much,” Ivanka told Fox. “This time around, I am choosing to prioritize my young children and the private life we are creating as a family. I do not plan to be involved in politics.”

“While I will always love and support my father, going forward I will do so outside the political arena,” Ivanka Trump added. “I am grateful to have had the honor of serving the American people and I will always be proud of many of our Administration’s accomplishments.”

Ivanka Trump and her family moved to Miami after leaving the White House and she said her time with her children is the most important thing in her life.

“My kids are thriving, and I want to maintain this cadence — this rhythm — at this point in our family’s life,” Ivanka Trump explained, adding that “time is fleeting, and every parent will tell you it really does go by so quickly.”

“They are at critical ages, and we are enjoying these moments with them,” Ivanka continued. “We’re happy where we are right now, and we will continue to support my father — as his kids.”

“I’m very proud of what I was able to accomplish,” Ivanka Trump added. “I left it all on the field, and I don’t miss it.”

Many conservatives will be happy to hear that Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner plan no involvement in Donald Trump’s political comeback.

“Javanka,” as the two were collectively known, were long-rumored to be New York Democrats who constantly tried to steer Trump away from the America First agenda and towards a more moderate path.

But Ivanka Trump bowing out of a 2024 role also leaves open the question as to how committed the Trump family is to spending the next two years campaigning for the White House.
