James Carville gave Democrats one hard truth about 2024 that left them panicking

Democrats are scrambling to find a way to save Joe Biden’s floundering campaign.

Now one of the party’s elder statesmen had to let them know the grim reality.

And James Carville gave Democrats one hard truth about 2024 that left them panicking.

James Carville goes off on Democrats for their poor election messaging

A Presidential election is usually a referendum on the incumbent.

President Joe Biden has been trying to take the attention off himself by making it a referendum on former President Donald Trump.

Veteran Democrat strategist James Carville went on a rant against the Democrats’ awful messaging during an appearance on the Politicon podcast.

He warned that his party was losing support among younger and black voters by ignoring the economy.

“The generational thievery that has occurred in this country is criminality of the first order,” Carville ranted. “We keep wondering why these young people are not coming home to the Democrats. Why are blacks not coming home to the Democrats? Because Democrat messaging is full of s**t, that’s why.”

Biden has tried to claim the economy is doing great while voters are being crushed by the worst inflation crisis in forty years.

That’s given Trump an opening to make inroads with these voters who are suffering the sting of high prices.

“And talk about cost of living, and we’re going to help deal with this,” Carville continued. “Don’t talk about f***ing Gaza and student loans. That is so out.”

Democrats lose the plot on kitchen table issues

Biden’s strategy for courting younger voters has been to launch another round of illegally canceling student loans.

Carville pointed to a recent Harvard/Harris poll that found inflation was far and away the top issue for voters.

The “Ragin’ Cajun” blasted Biden for his recent $7 billion round of student loan cancellations.

“Why are we forgiving student loans for people that go to Harvard?” Carville asked. “Which, according to Scott Galloway, quite accurately, is nothing but a hedge fund that has classrooms. Well, they got a $52 billion f***ing surplus. Why are taxpayers going to bail these people out? Why don’t you come out with a proposal to tax every university with an endowment of over $5 billion and use that money to give their former students relief?”

Carville gave Democrats a reality check about where things are currently at in the 2024 Election.

“We all know where we are,” Carville said. “We all know the position we are in. We all know what the polls say. We all know how old President Biden is. Quit f***ing arguing what’s in front of your face and start laying something out.”

Carville famously said during former President Bill Clinton’s 1992 campaign, “It’s the economy, stupid.”

Biden can’t effectively deliver a message to voters on the economy and inflation because those are losing issues for him.

Voters overwhelmingly trust Trump more to handle the economy and inflation, according to polling.

And they blame Biden for the economic woes plaguing the country.

Joe Biden is fumbling around figuring out what to do after Donald Trump got the advantage with voters on kitchen table issues.
