A 33-year-old socialist just told the man who put Bill Clinton in the White House to take a back seat.
Carville fired back last night – and called it exactly what it is.

Oliver Larkin is the only DSA-endorsed House candidate running in a competitive swing district this cycle.
This past weekend he looked at James Carville – the strategist whose 1992 campaign made Bill Clinton president – and told Fox News it was "time" for him "to take a back seat, to people with fresh ideas."
Carville responded Monday night on Jesse Watters Primetime.
"He has the attribute of every DSA member in the country," Carville said of Larkin, "and that is he has a motor mouth."
"He fits right in," he added.

Then he called the entire movement "a bunch of silly people" and "a pack of fools."
This is a man who has voted Democrat for 60 years – and he can barely contain his disgust.
What Larkin Actually Wants to Bring to Florida
Larkin is challenging Democrat Representative Jared Moskowitz in Florida's newly drawn 25th Congressional District – a competitive seat, not a safe blue bubble in Brooklyn or Manhattan.
His platform: abolish ICE, cancel student debt, free public college, and end what his campaign website calls Israel's "genocide" in Gaza.
He also wants to eliminate the Senate filibuster.
His biggest celebrity backer is Hasan Piker – the far-left streaming personality who Carville has said would drive him out of the Democrat Party entirely.
Larkin told Fox News this weekend that "democratic socialism can win in any district, in any race, for any office all across the country."
That's not a campaign slogan.
That's a takeover plan.
The DSA has been candid about its strategy: run candidates on the Democrat ballot line, use the party's infrastructure to win, then govern hard-left from inside.
Carville knows it.
Democrat leadership knows it.
And they have done nothing to stop it.
The Summer That Swallowed the Democrat Party
Florida today is the last stop in a primary season that has gutted the Democrat establishment.
The DSA entered 2026 with two members of Congress.
They are on track to finish with at least six – and their own national co-chairs are already talking about a presidential run in 2028.
Over 35 DSA-backed candidates have won primaries this cycle in New York, Colorado, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and beyond.
In Denver, a 29-year-old graduate student toppled a 15-term Democrat incumbent – carried there by more than 6,500 volunteers who knocked on over 100,000 doors.
In New York, socialist candidates who called for ending prisons and demanded voting rights for illegal immigrants won congressional primaries in June.
Carville has watched every one of these results come in.
He called for a formal party "schism" after New York.
He told his podcast audience he was "not in that f—ing political party" anymore.
He went on CNN and said the DSA candidates were "so f—ing stupid, I don't know what to say."
He singled out New York winner Darializa Avila Chevalier – who attacked the American flag and called for defunding police – and said she pushed him over the edge.
"Lady," Carville said, "I ain't in the same party as you."
And now a 33-year-old socialist with a motor mouth just told him he's irrelevant.

Polling has Moskowitz up by double digits today.
But the DSA wasn't supposed to win in Denver either.
Here's what your side needs to understand: these socialists are not running to lose close.
They are building armies of unpaid true believers who knock doors for months in districts where paid Democrat consultants won't go.

They showed up in Florida too.
Carville is 81 years old and by his own admission will "be dead" before the 2028 battle fully plays out.
The socialists are not waiting for the old guard to retire gracefully.
They already told Carville he's a relic – and they're making their move while he's still watching.
Tonight, Florida either stops them or hands them another foothold.
One way or another, the Democrat Party James Carville spent his life building doesn't exist anymore.
