James Comer is turning up the heat on Joe Biden with his investigation.

But one mistake from the President’s past is coming back to haunt him.

And James Comer hit Joe Biden with a nasty surprise that he never saw coming.

The House Oversight Committee led by Rep. James Comer (R-KY) is focused on investigating President Joe Biden and his family over the influence-peddling schemes.

Another scandal involving the President is coming back into focus after Comer fired off a new subpoena to a former White House official.

Comer subpoenaed former White House Counsel Dana Remus for his investigation into Biden’s classified document scandal.

The committee requested that Remus give an interview in May after the investigation uncovered “contradicts important details from the White House’s and President Biden’s personal attorney’s statements about the discovery of documents at the Penn Biden Center, including the location and security of the classified documents.”

Biden was caught stashing classified documents reportedly on Ukraine and Iran in a closet at the Penn Biden Center, his Chinese-funded think tank in Washington, D.C.

Multiple batches of classified documents were uncovered at Biden’s Delaware home including ones haphazardly stored in his garage.

“Facts continue to emerge showing that the White House’s narrative of President Biden’s mishandling of classified documents doesn’t add up,” Comer said in a statement. “It is imperative to learn whether President Biden retained sensitive documents related to any countries involving his family’s foreign business dealings that brought in millions for the Biden family. The Oversight Committee looks forward to hearing directly from Dana Remus and other central figures to further our investigation into President Biden’s mishandling of classified documents and determine whether our national security has been compromised.”

The White House hid the fact that the first batch of classified documents were found at the Penn Biden Center in early November until after last year’s Midterm Election.

The Oversight Committee investigation claims that they found evidence that the White House lied about the timeline involving Biden’s classified documents.

Senior Biden advisor Annie Tomasini and other White House officials began searching for classified documents in March 2021, shortly after Biden took office, according to Comer.

Remus tasked Defense Department official Kathy Chung, a former Biden aide, with retrieving documents from the Penn Biden Center in May 2022.

White House officials claimed that they were shocked to first discover the classified documents in early November 2022.

Comer is also requesting an interview with Tomasini and three other Biden officials about the search for the President’s classified documents.

The Oversight chairman called Remus a “central figure” in the attempt to round up documents at the Penn Biden Center and that she could be a witness with “potentially unique knowledge” about the scandal.

Joe Biden’s classified document investigation is heating up again just when the embattled President can’t afford to deal with another scandal.
