James “Mad Dog” Mattis spent two years secretly trying to undermine Donald Trump from inside the administration.
But no one knew how bad things really were.
And James Mattis just confessed to one plot to try and overthrow Trump.
President Trump’s comments about the coronavirus pandemic were not the only newsworthy tidbits to come out of his new anti-Trump hit piece book “Rage.”
Former national security officials continued their war on the President for wanting to bring troops home from overseas.
As Secretary of Defense, James Mattis always opposed President Trump’s America First foreign policy.
Mattis resigned in December 2018 because President Trump wanted to bring American troops home from Syria.
But Mattis was not just a conscientious objector.
In fact, Mattis plotted a coup with Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats during a standoff with North Korea in 2017.
Mattis quietly went to Washington National Cathedral to pray about his concern for the nation’s fate under Trump’s command and, according to Woodward, told Coats, “There may come a time when we have to take collective action” since Trump is “dangerous. He’s unfit.”
In a separate conversation recounted by Woodward, Mattis told Coats, “The president has no moral compass,” to which the director of national intelligence replied: “True. To him, a lie is not a lie. It’s just what he thinks. He doesn’t know the difference between the truth and a lie.”
What Mattis is talking about is sedition.
When Donald Trump would warn Americans there conspirators within the government plotting against him he was exactly right.
A former general openly admitted to a reporter that he discussed essentially overthrowing the President with other officials in the government.
